Read moreArrived around August 23rd and stayed a week. I was in room 327.
Check in: it was was kinda strange. The room I was taken to at first didn’t have a working air conditioner and no bottled water in the refrigerator. I didn’t think too much of it but receptionist insisted on taking me to a different room. I followed him to a couple rooms over. It had everything. Pretty nice room overall.
WiFi: garbage from day one. It was so bad that I contemplated asking for a refund and just leave.
It worked decent in the downstairs lobby but that’s really it. It was simply not working in my room. The night I arrived I was told by the receptionist that “it would be fixed at 8am”. It wasn’t. I asked a different receptionist that was on duty and he said, it was going be working at 12pm”. It wasn’t. I asked a different receptionist and she said, “it will work sometime tomorrow”. It didn’t. It became apparent these 3 different receptionists just kept passing the buck off until their shift was finished OR they’d each give bogus info so I’d go away. The Wifi never worked properly from my room.
Breakfast: The menu listed bacon, ham and sausage. The didn’t have bacon or ham for the first two days I was there. The egg white omelets and scrambled eggs were good but they only have mozzarella cheese for the omelets. No american or cheddar. On the 3rd day they had bacon. But it was really just undercooked bacon fat. No actual red bacon meat. Overall the breakfast was good though.
Dinner: If you are a fan of Indian food you're in luck. I am guessing they had actual Indian people cooking it because it was really good. Everything on the dinner menu was pretty pricey though. There is a hotel cat (stray?) that walks around the restaurant. I fed and pet it quite a few times.
Gym: Everything you want in a gym was there. Free weights, machine weights, cardio machines and had some CrossFit stuff also. The boxing heavy bag was nice but no boxing gloves present.
Room: The room was very nice and the refrigerator worked very well. The complimentary coffee each day was nice also. The shower took a really long time to produce hot water in the afternoon but overall if worked just fine.
Construction work outside the room: These guys were only 15 feet outside my room sledge hammering concrete and rebar from 7am to midnight each day. This hotel was no where near max capacity. So it puzzled me as to why they didn’t give me a room on the other side...
Read moreHello its your favorite local guide/critic I’ve stayed at kabira club for 1 week with my husband and it was a roller coaster to say the least it was both a good and a bad experience
First lets talk about the welcoming: it was good the receptionist was an expert at her job but the manager was a tad rude ( a manager should smile at all the guests not a portion of them)
Second the rooms we got our first room and it was nice the bed was really soft and comfortable but the AC was not working at all and we were sweating… we notified the reception and they gladly gave us another room with a view to the pool…. The ups were the view and the AC WAS WORKING like it should but the downside was the bed…i felt like i was sleeping on a rock and i could not sleep well… I notified the receptionist and she told me she will do her best to find another room until the manager came and told me that all the rooms are like this and i said nothing.
The service was great nice staff they clean up well
The rooms are clean i read some reviews that say the rooms are outdated but i did not see that they were good and the kitchen has everything you need
The breakfast is the same every day but it is delicious
The food was good especially the indian food
The pool is nice but the service at the pool was very poor you need to beg for a mattress and some water… rented some goggles that dont work for 5 minutes and they charged me 10.000
Overall its a nice hotel that needs a better management and some nice mattresses other than that it was a nice stay
Price per 2 persons...
