Florida Hotel — Hotel in Wakiso

DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!! Save your money and book next door. Once your have your money they do not care about your experience here. They probably treat their customers with more respect. Arrived I discovered none of the room are fully functional. All the toilet on the middle floor do not work well. All of the them are leaking. The ceiling fan don’t work in my room. Some rooms have hot water but not all. If you are hoping to get a room with hot water you must say it because they will not inform you until you discover for yourself. Which required me to open the windows but the problem with that is the hotel is on Kampala main road. One of the busy street in Uganda, meaning it is very noisy and I did not sleep at all. Their Wi-Fi do not fully function. It is very spotty or completely off at time. The Wi-Fi will not reach your room so you must step outside in the hallway and stand under the router. They will not accommodate to you as the guess. Whatever you pay for, that what you get. A non-functional room until you leave. They will charge you extra hidden fee if you don’t pay attention. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL IF YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE KAMPALA. You will not have a good time and you will be unsatisfied. IM NEVER COMING BACK TO THE HOTEL EVER AGAIN!!!! The rooms have improved greatly so as the bar area. Rooms facing the gardens have beautiful views and larger beds. The looks of entrance facing the Entebbe road through the restaurant, can make u feel like the hotel is not functioning, but not until you enter inside or use the main reception, you will appreciate it...
