Easy to find, just 3 or 4 minutes’ walk from Pryvoz Bus Station. With a gated entry on a very busy street, access was controlled from inside the hotel once I had pressed the gate buzzer. I arrived at around 11:45 not expecting my room to be ready until 14:00 & it was not ready. I left my bags in the secure/locked left luggage room & then checked in with the very friendly & helpful Lyubov who spoke excellent English & who was joined by the hotel’s owner, Marina. A very friendly, quick & informative check in as my passport was copied, info on Wi-Fi & breakfast times was given & I was advised of nearby sights & given directions for same. I booked my next morning’s breakfast slot for 08:00 & my order from the menu. The UAH30.00 tourist tax was deducted from my bill & paid as a separate payment. I was just settling down on a comfortable sofa to catch up on some news on my phone apps when, at 12.25, I was told that my room was now ready & I could go to it whenever I wanted. ||With no lift, Lyubov showed me to my room on the 2nd floor & gave me a key for room entry/exit & a key card for the electricity. Wow, a striking room when I entered it, fresh & modern with a quirky colour scheme & great design/layout. It was clean & bright, not massive but still more than an adequate size. It was all set for the very comfortable night that I ended up having with carpet floor, luggage rack, clothes closet, wall mounted tv, double bed (2 singles pushed together), long mirror, hairdryer, slippers, smoke alarm, a small work area, stool, radiator, easy to control aircon ranging from 16 to 31 degrees & plenty of electrical sockets. A large window overlooking the courtyard meant an abundance of natural light & there were absolutely no issues with noise from outside of the hotel. Indeed, even with a school tour group of approx. 20 – 14 & 15 yr. olds, there were no issues with noise from inside the hotel either. Wi-Fi was accessed by password, was quick to connect to, had fast speeds & was reliable. It auto connected immediately every time I re-entered the hotel. There was no iron in the room, but the luggage storage room doubled as the ironing room with an iron & ironing board that were free to guests to use.||My bathroom was small but clean & like the bedroom, quirky/funky with a tiled floor, partially tiled walls, shower cubicle with a shower head & hose on a riser rail, easily controlled shower valve with great pressure & an endless supply of hot water, ceiling vent, mirror, 2 bath & 2 hand towels, large shampoo & large liquid soap in dispensers & 2 electrical sockets.||Breakfast was cooked fresh to order & had teas & coffees in addition to what was on the menu. Even though the hotel was full, I was the only guest in the breakfast room from 08:00, when I entered the room, until I finished my breakfast. There is a photo of the menu attached to this review.||Outside of my room, there was a door giving access to a large balcony overlooking the courtyard which, I would imagine, would be perfect to chill on during the summer, as would be the courtyard. In the courtyard & just outside the hotel entrance was a vending machine with bottles of water, iced tea & Pepsi cola. Also, in the courtyard was something that I haven’t come across before in a hotel’s grounds, a cat “hotel”. Built by the hotel & neighbours in the adjoining apartments & homes, it gave great shelter, had numerous beds & food was put out daily for a lot & I do mean a lot of healthy-looking cats, both adults & kittens. Really nice to see.||The hotel is in a fantastic location for sightseeing, with many things to see just short walks from the hotel. There is a bank, currency exchange & supermarket within metres of the hotel & the very busy street on which it is located has numerous cafes, restaurants, shops etc. I would love to return to Odessa which exceeded my expectations & if or when I do, I won’t bother checking out any other hotel as this one was quite...
Read moreSmall and cozy hotel which located inside very nice and quiet yard. The hotel is new and modern with interesting interior concept, everything in green and purple colours. We couldn't occupy our room till 2 p.m. as it's hot season here in Odessa and all rooms were unavailable as well as we couldn't book late check-out for the same reason. What I want to admit the most is that there was a mosquito net on a window so you can open it at night as it's quite hot now here, but there is a conditioner in the room as well. The room can seems a little bit small but for me it's ok, for 2 person not more. The shower is small as well and is inconvenient for very fat people. The bed creaks, not very pleasant to disturb someone especially at night. What about the breakfast, you have to choose meals and time everyday for the next day, they have about 6 or more different options. We tried 3 of all. It's not like buffet breakfast which I personally prefer. You have the same portion everyday and that's all. From drinks they have tea&coffee only and once they didn't even have coffee. But there are a fridge outside in the yard with cold drinks like juices and water so you can buy. Also in the yard you can see a lot of cats and kittens and even the dog and feed them as for me it's very funny and bring good mood to me. When you check out you can leave your baggage in the baggage room for the rest time of the day. I suggest to stay here, I think what we paid for it...
Read moreThis hotel is hidden in a lovely secure garden courtyard fairly close to the main Odesa railway station and the Privoz Market. It is a wonderful surprise. The surrounding buildings are old and rather run down but Good Night Hotel is new, modern and very comfortable.||||My room was reasonably spacious and had a very comfortable double bed and a well appointed bathroom with lots of strong, hot water. The room was quiet but very comfortable.||||Breakfast was included but this was hardly a plus. There was a very limited choice, and you had to make your choice the night before and specify the time you would like it served. The breakfast room is pleasant enough and the food was OK, but the best recommendation I could give breakfast was that it was free.||||However, if you want a convenient, safe, well appointed, clean, modern hotel room in a good location at a low price, this hotel...
