We spent already in April 2013 22 nights in Ajman, a kind of "low cost" area not too far away from the "high cost" city of Dubai, after Sharjah, which lies in between, became too busy. The positive side in Ajman is that not only many things are cheaper but there is also less traffic congestion. The negative side is that a rent-a-car is a must. Should you need to go to or from Dubai during rush hour, it's nearly a disaster. The Apartment-Hotel Habib offers not only a good quality and service, which obviously is appreciated by many Arabs and Asian guests too, but they are personally extremely helpful. We got a sleeping room with AC, together with a living room and a kind of kitchenette, for the same amount you get only a sleeping room in Sharjah or even impossible to find in Dubai. Read moreI have really good impression about this hotel, it was my first cheap hotel, but I like it. First location is around 10 min walk from Ajman Corniche and also same time to shops. Its situated on quite street first its scares me a little, because I even saw chicken walking there, but after I even like it, so simple and quite at day and night, almost no cars in this street. Really nice and polite girl work on reception. Room simple but big and really clean, that surprise me a lot, also free cable internet. Only notice, hotel have stairs on ground floor and don't have deposit box in rooms and also no washing machine in kitchen. Hotel dont have restaurant or anything else, but you can order food to your room from near cafes with a really nice price. Anyway for that price I payed (around 50$ per night) everything...
