Dear Panoor Restaurant Management, I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the repeated poor service and unprofessional behavior I have experienced recently at your establishment, despite being a regular and previously satisfied customer. On May 9th, I placed a food order over the phone, but I only received it after more than two hours. When I called to follow up, I was informed that the order had been misplaced. While this was frustrating, I chose to overlook the matter, especially after discussing it in person with the supervisor when I visited your restaurant on May 15th with my family. However, a similar and more upsetting incident happened again today. I placed another order and waited for over an hour with no update. When I called to check on the delay, the staff member initially spoke politely but soon became rude. When I expressed my frustration, he dismissively asked, “What will you do if the food comes late?” — a response I found extremely disrespectful and unacceptable. When I asked to speak to the manager, he refused and would not provide his name at first. Eventually, he claimed to be the accountant and said his name was Abin, adding again in a rude tone, “What will you do?” I had no choice but to cancel the order after this unpleasant conversation. My family, friends, and I have always enjoyed dining at Panoor, but this experience has left us disheartened. If such behavior continues from your staff, I will have to reconsider returning to or recommending your restaurant in the future. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address the matter appropriately to prevent similar experiences for other...
Read moreWorst dining experience ever had!!! Visited with family, and we were asked to sit in the side room on right, where other families were seated. Ordered pepper charcoal chicken, when the food was brought to serve, a stinking smell of something rotten wafted in the air. Thought that it could be something else from outside or some strange items I hadn't tried before, still I mentioned it to my family and my kid kept on telling some foul smell was around. As I moved part of chicken the smell intensified, and as I cut a piece, to my horror, I realized that the foul smell comes from the very piece I was holding, I dropped the piece and stretched my hand to my wife who had already been baffled by our expressions quickly moved her head back. Unbelievably, the restaurant served rotten meat!! I called the waiter and handed the piece of meat in a tissue, he moved out, checked it out and returned to inform that chef said that it was half cooked. But that was a statement to pacify and play down the gravity of the foul play of cooking and serving rotten meat. I didn't want to take it further because I saw him working hard serving others without a break, and other families had already started noticing us. Moreover,I didn't think management would be genuinely apologetic, they might utter some words of formalities, that's what I had experienced before when my home delivery was ended up being a mess. I'm posting it in review because if anybody has had similar experience it should be seriously brought into their notice. To be honest, my family and I had loved charcoal chicken at the restaurant, but today's experience has put...
Read moreWz lotsa anticipation and excitement we visited this relatively new Br. of Panoor in Ajman, since my friends and I were regular visitors of the one and only main br. in Qusais since childhood.
Service: poor- we as a family took our seats in the family section. It took 10 mins for someone to attend to us, inspite of 3 waiters standing and chatting besides us. The waiter who finally attended to us, seemed very distracted and preoccupied- wasnt paying much attention to what we were saying and leaving half way through the conversation- 1st ever experience.
Hygiene: very clean and hygienic.
Ambience: was good. Huge place wz lots of seating. Family section available.
Food quality n quantity: ordered kunji patri, chatti patri, chicken samosa and a nadan chilli chicken and for beverages had nadan chai, lime juice for the kids and kuliki sarbath. Except for the Tea- everything else was just terrible. The kunji patri had only the mini patris in it with hardly 2-3 minor trimmings of beef in it and a couple of bones. Chilli chicken was just so tasteless- with hell lotta onions and some shredded chicken in it topped wz lotsa food coloring. Lime juice tasted bitter. Samosa was just average Otherwise an absolutely horrible experience in all aspects. And the next day we ended up with a really upset tummy. Regretted our visit here- waste of time and money. .
Price: economical.
Management really needs to look into this seriously and immediately.
My suggestion- please save yourselves the effort, time and money and prepare some toast or omelette at home and...
