Excellent Stay Near the Airport – Personally Tested and Recommended
I stayed at this hotel for 10 days and can confidently say it’s a fantastic choice for those looking for convenience, cleanliness, professional service, and close access to the airport.
🔹 📍 Perfect Location The hotel is just 5–10 minutes away from the airport, which was exactly what I needed. There’s a free shuttle bus every 30 minutes to Terminals 1 and 3. Staff help organize your luggage neatly with trolleys to the room and back.
🔹 🛎 Staff & Atmosphere • Very polite and responsive staff • All questions are handled immediately without delays • Security and concierge are friendly and attentive • Restaurant and bar staff wear stylish uniforms — almost like airline crew ✈️ This gives a chic, transit-like feel — like you’ve just landed in a calm, modern space.
🔹 🕰 Room Service & Dining • Room service is available from 12:00 PM to midnight • Breakfast buffet (7:00–10:00 AM) is fresh, unlimited, and tasty • A 24/7 snack and drink corner is available in the lobby • You can also order food via Talabat or Uber Eats — it’s delivered to the lobby for pickup • A microwave is available for guests to reheat meals — a big plus! • I ordered pasta one day, and the portion was large enough for two meals. Delicious!
🔹 🧊 Fridge & Ice • Rooms have mini-fridges, but they aren’t cold enough for storing ice cream or perishables • Each floor has an Ice Room where you can grab ice to chill drinks — very handy
🔹 🚭 Rooms & Comfort • Both smoking and non-smoking rooms available — request in advance • Room was clean, well-kept, and odor-free
🔹 💰 Tourist Tax Info • A daily tourist tax applies — best to confirm the exact amount at reception • If you’re flying out, keep your receipts — you may be able to get a refund at the airport
🔹 🧘♀️ Spa & Massage • The spa is open until 3:00 AM — perfect for late-night relaxation • I had a wonderful partial massage (arms, legs, ears, head) with a lovely therapist
🔹 🏋️♀️ Facilities • No pool, but a small gym is available • Cozy lobby with a Mashreq Bank ATM (cash withdrawals only) • Carlsberg restaurant & lounge (12:00 PM – 2:00 AM) — offers snacks, drinks, and a smoking zone
🔹 🎮 For Gamers • No gaming lounge on site, but Gamer DXB is just 10 minutes away in Terminal 3 • Perfect if you want to game between or relax nearby
Breakfast was included in my stay, served daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM as a fresh and generous buffet. There was a wide selection, everything was well-prepared, and you could enjoy as much as you liked — perfect for starting the day. The dining area was clean, and the staff were always polite and attentive.
• In the lobby, there’s a 24/7 snack and drinks station, great for a quick bite, soft drinks or coffee at any hour.
This isn’t a luxury resort, but it’s a well-thought-out, clean, practical, and warm hotel with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Perfect for travelers before or after flights who value convenience, quietness, and reliable service. I truly enjoyed my stay and would happily return again. Thank you to...
Read moreBecause of the snowstorm in Toronto, the flight was cancelled and I was forced to stay in Dubai. In addition to visa and various unexpected factors, I stayed in this city for more than three weeks.
At first I just saw this hotel on the platform by chance, made a reservation and stayed there. In fact, my hearing and English are not very good, but the reception still helped me check in very patiently and thoughtfully told me many things to note.
The hotel is much better than I thought. It is very clean and tidy. Although there is a musty smell when you enter the door, it is not so bad after ventilation.
I started taking online classes in Dubai, waiting for news about my flight and visa every day. I went to have extensions almost every day, so many front desk staff remembered me. When I went to renew my room one day, Ann called out my name accurately, which surprised me a lot.
I don’t know anyone in this city, nor do I have any friends, but seeing the smiles and greetings from various staff members every day makes me feel that it’s not that bad.
I'm not used to Middle Eastern food, but the hotel's dishes are varied enough to satisfy most people's appetites. I didn't eat breakfast much before, but after coming here, I actually guess what breakfast the hotel restaurant will have tomorrow before going to bed.
I was unfamiliar with the place and I am not a person who likes to travel around, so I meted the staff every time they came and did the housekeeping. I want to thank Anvesh and a girl (I have forgotten her name…) for helping me clean the room so enthusiastically, changing the bed sheets for me, and giving me so many things.
Although I don't know how long I will stay in this city, I may have to leave soon. Thank you to everyone who helped me. Thanks again to Ann and Geovanni, the two front desk staff who always serve me enthusiastically. Thank you Anvesh and that girl. If possible, I will stay in this hotel again when I come...

My worst Holiday Inn Express experience… ever!
Rooms are in extremely poor condition – see my photos. The hotel is renovating rooms (Oct 2025), but slowly, so expect a bad room and possible disruption during your stay.. I was woken by workmen outside my room in the early morning. Zero/poor recognition for top-tier Platinum/Diamond IHG members. I was not given a renovated room, or indeed even a good room, or a higher floor. In fact, I had to move THREE times so finally find a room which was acceptable and even it was in poor condition!!! Prior to check-in, for some bizarre reason, this hotel may charge your payment card a higher amount that the cost of your booking. When checking-in, the refund and re-charge process is unnecessary. When queried, the reception team couldn’t explain why they had charged a higher amount than my room rate. Water temperature fluctuates, so don’t expect a hot shower. Extremely uncomfortable. The hotel’s online information regarding the airport shuttle is inaccurate and not comprehensive. It should be every thirty minutes, but often runs late. There is a timetable, but the hotel doesn’t provide this information online. Also, there is not a complimentary shuttle to Emirates Metro as stated online, this is completely false. Other airport hotels have more frequent shuttles. It took me over an hour to get from the airport to the hotel. I could easily have travelled into central Dubai in this time, so why stay in an airport hotel?! I wrote a complaint to the hotel manager, Ahmed Abdel Nabi, who finds the time to respond to each Google review, but he never replied, even after two emails. I eventually received a reply from a guest service supervisor. This tells you all you need to know about how badly the hotel is...
