This was our first time in Hatta and also first time travelling in the UAE with our doggy and we loved every moment in this resort! The place is incredible, a true oasis of peace surrounded by the mountains! We loved the nice walks with our dog in the beautiful and relaxing gardens, between palmtrees and flowers, the view from the viewpoint is amazing and our dog enjoyed climbing the rocks. Sunset is stunning from above the Rock Pool. Food is amazing, especially the breakfast with a choice of everything to accommodate all nationalities. We were able to sit at the terasse with our dog and it was very nice. The Gazebo staff are super nice! The 2 pools are great, we liked the Rock pool, but unfortunately it was out of service one day during our stay but it s ok as we were able to use the other pool. The staff at the pool (sorry we forgot the name) was always so kind and always came to accommodate our doggy with a mat and some water in a bowl. Many hotels wont let doggies at the pool area, but here he was allowed and it was great. All the employees in general were so nice and lovely, very kind and welcoming. Thaw Thaw was so friendly, Aisha at the reception was very helpfull and kind, the other receptionist was always smiling and friendly as well. Reception manager greeted us very warmly upon arrival and everyone was always very nice with our Pet, we really felt he was loved and accepted. Also he was welcomed with treats in the room and 2 bowls plus a mat for his food, they gifted him also a small bandana. The place is perfect for pets, the room is so beautiful and cozy in all details (pet friendly Deluxe mountain view) the balcony as a metalic grid so no one can escape :) we appreciated the coffee maker in the room and the Italian coffee (i am Italian). Bedding was comfy and bathroom amazing. Everything is very well maintained and there is a lot of attention in all details. We just wished the TV would be "smart" for the evenings movie nights ;) We didnt try all the activities, as we were just relaxing and staying with our doggy, but maybe next time when the weather will be cooler! The only downside for me personally, it's the use of dynamic pricing for the room rates, since it becomes a bit complicated to plan a trip, as from one day to another the price can change significantly, but I can understand that this is the way the business works. Also the pet fee was not very clear during the booking process, as there is a sanification fee of 250d which appears by default in the reservation but then there is a 50d per day pet fee on top of that to be paid at the hotel, which is not clearly stated during the booking. I personally felt it is a bit overpriced, since the pet friendly room is already more expensive than the same room not pet friendly, but thats my personal opinion. We have visited so many resorts within UAE and around the world, but we never experienced such in JA Hatta.
1st, we have booked 2 family connected room, once we opened the room, there was extremely bad smell. I checked the surface and the edges and I was shocked with the dust amount! We called house keeping, his solution was “spraying air refresher” !! Which made the smell worse. I told him to vaccum and clean the room, when he opened the Vacuum Machine OMG, the smell was even worse!! And the cleaning bucket was extremely dirty and the cleaning towels as well. I told him Just vaccum as I decided to go to the supermarket and buy cleaning stuff and clean by myself (which I did). I cleaned and changed the bedsheets by myself for 3 nights! Because i could not trust their cleaning method honestly. Towels were dark and not clean white which means they are excessively used for long long time. Bed sofa as well full of dust and down the sofa was mountain of dust. 2nd, restaurant, the quality of food not reasonable at all with the price, i really dont recommend it at all!! Breakfast was good though. They told us that if we have Mazaya we will be eligible to 25% discount in restaurant, at check out they said no you only can pay and avail the discount in the restaurant and you cant do it now!!! Restaurant did not notify us with this point!!! We paid the full amount.
Front desk employees are impolite while calling, the way they talk its not professional at all.
Movie night suppose to start at 8:00 P.M as the sun will set and the vision will be clear for movie night, they started the movie at 6:00 P.M while kids were playing at the pool and vision not really clear, we thought that they are testing but no it was playing and finished at around 7:30 PM!!!
Facilities of the hotel not bad, the hotel needs strong management, this quality is ruining Dubai image !!!! We never expected that there is such low quality resort in UAE.
HSE (Health, Safety & Environment), is zero. As our kids has asthma, the rooms with full dust and bad smell and not healthy cleaning. Bed mattress has low quality protector.
I really worked hard in cleaning during my stay in this resort, it was not a vacation, it was cleaning days for me!!! The location of the hotel is far and i could not check out immediately as i have kids and i cant take the risk and go look for another hotel nearby cities.
What I can say, my siblings and my friends were waiting for my review so they can book in the resort, I told them dont ever think about it, it not recommended at all!!!
Please do some training on how to manage a resort in UAE!! Focus in HSE!! Train your people on how to clean and manage rooms!! Enhance your kitchens!! Otherwise close...

This was a major inconvenience and should have been clearly communicated from the beginning.||Regarding services, we were told before our stay that only breakfast would incur an extra charge if requested. Based on that, we paid for breakfast and pool access for one day only. However, during checkout, we were surprised and disappointed to be charged an additional amount, despite not requesting any extra services, beds, or amenities.||What made matters worse was the unprofessional behavior of the Filipina manager at the hotel. She treated us in a very disrespectful and dismissive manner, and her attitude made us feel like we were not welcome. The reception staff as a whole did not meet our expectations, and we were deeply frustrated by their lack of proper communication and customer care.||There was also a significant lack of consistency in information: the manager would give us one explanation or amount, while the cashier would say something completely different. This constant contradiction highlighted the chaos and lack of proper management within the hotel.||I came to this hotel with the intention of relaxing and enjoying my time, but instead, I left with a strong sense of disappointment and frustration. We felt like strangers and were treated poorly throughout our stay.||I strongly advise others not to stay at this hotel to avoid going through the same terrible experience.
