We booked here and this was part of a 2 day trip, the most expensive out of all the premier inns we used on our holiday around Scotland. The 'family' room is shocking in size, beds all rammed next to each other with no gap to get around. The bathroom was ok but shower quality was lacking. As a note, rooms are not serviced due to Covid and they explain this in a print out. The night staff, absolutely spot on and could t do enough to help. Sadly, the day staff, either are under staffed or just unhappy. We had booked breakfast for 9am but told it was moved to 9.30am, so we arrived then to be thoroughly told off that our breakfast was at 9.15am and we were late. (The restaurant has 3 other table covers but otherwise empty.) We had it written down breakfast was 9.30am but nevermind. However, 1 hour 30 mins later we finally got served, they served other families and couples that came in afterwards but somehow forgot us. We did ask a couple of times if we could get drinks and the lady serving was genuinely lovely. We were the last to he served so didn't end up leaving until almost lunch service. We had 2 breakfasts booked and decided to not use them the next morning because we had to be away early. The previous night we had ordered food to take away from the Thyme restaurant but they only gave us half a burnt pizza when we paid for a full one and the portion sizes were laughable for the prices. We won't be using Dyce again as we found parking is quite limited, they charge you £6 per day to park and though front of house staff were likely under a lot of pressure it made us feel uncomfortable how...
Read moreFound the room to be very dated and run down. The furniture in the room looks like it has had a hard life where the bed had a broken castor. Staff were friendly. We were staying on the 2nd floor and it reeked of garlic one evening. When I say reeked I mean almost overpowering recon someone must have been cooking in room. It's obvious that the housekeeping staff don't check what they are putting in to the rooms. One of the bath towels was threadbare and fill of hole. And some notification that they do NOT service your room would have been nice. One Had to visit the loos on the ground floor and the look ok but the smell of stale urine not nice. With the choice of hotels here Premier inn need to up their game or give up. Next visit to Aberdeen we will stay at one of the other hotels as there is plenty of choice now. Visited the onsite restaurant for dinner one evening and breakfast the next morning. Dinner was okayish. Found the service to be very lackluster ( yes our server was a trainee but he could have done with a bit more supervision). Food at dinner was okay but let's just say you can get a better meal at the pub down the road. Breakfast was okay but please do not deep fry the sausages as we both found the skins to be almost inedible. Will we return big fat NO. Air conditioning in room was terrible and would have rather had a window that opens. Sorry Premier inn but we will book elsewhere now on our travels. The cut backs have gone too far. Not enough staff and...
Read moreReally nice hotel and staff are always very friendly and helpful. The parking is a bit of a nightmare as it's controlled by your parking space it's far cheaper to pre-book parking than paying on exit I always did this through the app and overnight parking is £7. When selecting to pay on exit it charged me £3 and on one occasion took this payment twice as well as charging me to park overnight. Paying for parking can also be done at the kiosk by the front door. The car park can get very over crowded with no space left at all I've seen many cars having to park on the grass across from the entrance and even on the pavement by the front door as the car park is that small it's usually only like this from around 7.30pm. The rooms have always been ok and just a standard premier Inn experience it has the basics that you need and nothing fancy. The restaurant is located on the bottom floor inside the hotel and they do offer a meal deal for either breakfast dinner or both I the food has always been good. Dinner needs to be booked and I would advise booking a day ahead of staying for several days on a few occasions I have gone for dinner and told to come back in an hour despite the restaurant having...
