After being on the road for 5hr all we wanted was a shower and go to bed. We arrived here just before 11pm on Friday night. Welcomed in and checked in quickly. We have stayed in many premier Inns so we know how it works. We went to the room and very quickly realised that there were only towels for 1 person. I had to call the receptionist to bring another not what we needed when you are very tired. I noticed that part of the shower and towel rack are rusty and cracks in the ceiling.
Finally getting into bed and the pillow felt flat like a pancake (for me anyway) the alternative in the cupboard was no better. The room above us has very squeaky floor boards. Every time the occupants in that room were walking around we could here it. They woke us up at 2:30, 5:30 and then again at 6:30. It was like they were walking a marathon in the room (not walking quietly either). When we checked out the receptionist told us that we were the 5th room to complain about it. It was only then that we were told that they had some cheerleaders staying. We were also made aware that it is one of the longest standing inn's at Nottingham. I will say last year we stayed in Nottingham South and that was nicer. When we were in the lift, I also noticed that the buttons had sellotape on to keep them in place. I think some much needed money needs to be spent at this site.
In terms of a good night's sleep well that we didn't have. Not coming...
Read moreI had horrible experience, I stayed in that hotel as I always prefer Premier Inn but at this one it was not good at all. I did not sleep well at all due to the pillows it literally gave me neck ache. In the middle of the night I kept waking up and was hard to sleep but I ignored and tried to sleep as I had to get up for work the next day. In the morning I had minor pain back of my neck and then when I went to report to the reception which was on another building entirely there was a long queue of people checking in and checking out. I then asked receptionist I wanted to report something, I was asked to wait but then she said I could call up later. I did call them during the day as my pain kept increasing and they asked me to report it to the Feedback Form on their website. This is where I realised they have a Goodnight Guarantee policy. I tried to get compensation as I was not happy with my stay AT ALL. I called them for 2/3 days every day and finally today they responded that I cannot be refunded due to me not reporting to reception in the middle of night. It was minor when it happened and in the morning I was feeling pain which I thought I would ignore but they totally declined my compensation which I feel is unfair. Really not happy with their service. Totally! Feel betrayed, the Ts and Cs they have out there do not match with what they...

A couple of friends and I stayed here as we were going to see Pete Tong at the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham. This Premier Inn is conveniently located right next to Phoenix Park & Ride tram station, where the tram will take you right into the city centre. It's also only about a 20 minute drive by car/taxi from the hotel into Nottingham. There's also free onsite parking directly next to the hotel.
The staff were super friendly and very welcoming. I stayed in a standard double room, which was very spacious and the bed was really comfy. There was also lots of space to keep clothes and other personal belongings. The shower was nice and powerful too!
We also opted for the Unlimited Premier Inn Breakfast. This meant that we were able to enjoy a cooked breakfast with all the classic full English items, plus there was a wide range of pastries, yoghurts and cereals to choose from which we also enjoyed. As the breakfast was unlimited, we were able to go back for seconds (in fact, a few visits were made to the different stations as there was so much choice!).
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay which was excellent value. I'll definitely be...
