An unbelievably good value stay in the heart of Canterbury! I booked through Booking.com (Super cheap offer) and was pleasantly surprised by the comfort, cleanliness, and warm hospitality. The room was neat and cosy, and the breakfast was far beyond expectations — eggs, hash browns, mushrooms, spinach, grilled tomatoes, even vegetarian sausage! They also offer free car parking, which is a big plus in a city like this. Quiet location, great access to attractions, and truly a hidden gem. Highly recommended. But the shower water flow is very slow and bad. So reduced One Star.

I booked the Canterbury Lodge the day before we travelled as we decided to go away at the last minute.|As my partner was working, it was 8.15pm by the time we arrived but Lisa was very welcoming and helpful. She cannot do enough for you. |There are some lovely quirky features, lots of pictures, and themed displays|So much attention to detail in every way, the room was huge and immaculate, with a nice garden view, and there was a vase of flowers too. |Bathroom was fab - great shower.|We tried to find a fault with the place and the only thing I could think of was whether there would be fruit at breakfast, but when we went for the fab breakfast, there were strawberries and blueberries so the perfect stay |It’s a really lovely place - highly...

We enjoyed our recent weekend stay, and the lady who runs it was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is excellent, although seems to be limited to a full English, as that was all we were offered, but it was very nice and well presented. There is every item available that you could want with your breakfast: fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, juices etc. The rooms are large with a very comfortable bed, and modern bathroom with an excellent shower. There was also a box of chocolates left in our room, which was a lovely touch. The b&b is easily within walking distance of the town and the main attractions. We would recommend the nice walk into Chartham, although there really is only a pub when you get there, but who needs more! Would...

Best eggs in the world? is a bold statement but may well be true. I recently had breakfast in a top London hotel (£1,000 + per night) and the eggs were not as excellent as here. The owner was charming & friendly and wanted to do everything possible to make our stay wonderful (which she did - thank you). As a couple with "bus passes" we used these to travel (several times) to Whitstable for the lovely seafood and into the city centre (and the associated return trips), as there are stops outside the B&B. The breakfast was hearty and the eggs were also better than those I ate in USA during a 3 week...
