Read moreWe enjoyed our recent weekend stay, and the lady who runs it was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is excellent, although seems to be limited to a full English, as that was all we were offered, but it was very nice and well presented. There is every item available that you could want with your breakfast: fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, juices etc. The rooms are large with a very comfortable bed, and modern bathroom with an excellent shower. There was also a box of chocolates left in our room, which was a lovely touch. The b&b is easily within walking distance of the town and the main attractions. We would recommend the nice walk into Chartham, although there really is only a pub when you get there, but who needs more! Would...
Read moreBest eggs in the world? is a bold statement but may well be true. I recently had breakfast in a top London hotel (£1,000 + per night) and the eggs were not as excellent as here. The owner was charming & friendly and wanted to do everything possible to make our stay wonderful (which she did - thank you). As a couple with "bus passes" we used these to travel (several times) to Whitstable for the lovely seafood and into the city centre (and the associated return trips), as there are stops outside the B&B.
