We just had an amazing weekend here at Bibury Camping 🏕️ . Initially planning to stay for just one night, our experience was so enjoyable that we decided to extend our stay. Despite being our first time camping without electricity, it was a fantastic experience. We have a motorhome 🚍and had no issues settling ourselves onto our pitch! We had a great pitch with a campfire and bench perfect for toasting marshmallows and stargazing late into the night ( You can purchase wood at a low cost available on site) . Richard greeted us warmly upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. The following day, we took a short walk to Bibury Trout Farm which was also fantastic & in the evening we set off on a 6 mile hike 🥾 There are some lovely walks/hikes around and nearby the site available using OS maps. We will definitely be returning as soon as we can. The site itself is easy to find using Google Maps . To those leaving negative reviews, I would suggest carefully reading the website as everything is clearly stated. This site may not be suitable for those needing electric hook-ups or waste disposal facilities, but it offers two hot showers, two clean toilets, spring water, and dustbins and the cost includes up to 5 people!!Personally, I found the experience of showering in a horse 🐴 box quite enjoyable 🙂– it's a unique experience to tick off the list. Thank you for a...

There was a massive ditch that was filled with water making it nearly impossible to get into the campervan park. The actual park itself was impossible to find and had us running in circles. We were only notified upon arrival that there were no power outlets for motor which is a necessity to make things like water, heating and electricity to work. The bathroom and washing up facilities had no running hot water apart from a dodgy shower that was impossible to regulate. The toilets were in the back of some old trailer and had a rotten smell coming from it and was incredibly damp. There was shelter above the sinks and washing up facilities meaning that you had to do your dishes and brush yur teeth in the rain. There was also no waste disposal or chemical toilets disposal area in a park specifically labelled as a 'camping and motorhome park'. Over all very bad experience, would not recommend or...

I am so grateful we find this perfect little place 10min walk from Bibury (top 5 cutest village in the UK). It’s got everything you need. The site is restricted to a certain amount of campers so you don’t risk to feel overcrowded. There is 2 (hot!) showers and 2 toilets (regularly cleaned and stocked up by the owner which is un common for a camp site), and one sink (also with washing up liquid and soap)! They do recycling which shows care for the environment , there are picnic tables and fire pitches (they also sell wood for £8). We also got the tip from the owner to rent bike from a nearby rental place that came and delivered the bikes the night before our arrival. We couldn’t hope for more and Dot & Gareth really care about the happiness and wellbeing of their campers and hence I would recommend this place to anyone !

Bibury campsite is a really great place to stay for people who want to camp back to basics. The pitches here are very big and come with a fire pit. The amenities are basic but clean. There are two showers and two toilets in a converted horse trailer. Pretty ingenious! When we were there the washing up station had no warm water temporarily, but the showers did have hot water. The site has a nice view over the farmers field and there is little light pollution. The walk to Bibury is short and there is a public footpath that starts at the campsite. The village is very cute and picturesque. As part of the greener camping club you get what you would expect from their campsites: green, natural, basic and quiet. I would love to come back again, we really enjoyed our stay!
