Read moreGreat coffee and cakes. Staff are polite but left wondering why they do not help in any way to put bought items into bags or coffees into coffee holders especially when it’s clear you have a large dog with you and there is absolutely no way you could do this unless you had a third hand. A little help would have been nice especially when you’re paying Cotswolds prices on everything.
It happened on 3 occasions to myself and my husband who went in separately. For a while I stood there and looked at all the items I had bought (quite a few bits spread over the counter), then looked at the assistants wondering if we stood there long enough, everything would jump all by itself into a bag ?

We ordered three coffees, which were lovely and made well, and batted off wasps as we waited. One even left with us!
I'm not entirely sure the place should be open let alone selling cakes / pastries that have been nibbled and God knows what else before human consumption.
Those wasps had not just arrived today. They'd been there a while.
I certainly wouldn't buy any food from any of their establishments if they think...
