We stayed at the Innisfree b&b for 2 nights to explore the local area.|The accommodation was very nice and comfortable with a beautiful bathroom. It really was like staying in a home from home.|There was a well stocked tea and coffee tray in the room, with some little chocolats which was a lovely touch.|The breakfast was very nice, all cooked to order, and with an array of options.|I went for the full English on the first morning, eh if came with a traditional Derbyshire out cake. Never had one before, so really enjoyed my first one.|The b&b is well located in the village. It was a short walk from the Miners Arms pub, and a short drive from the Curry Cottage. Read moreWe could not fault the accommodation. Our bedroom had everything we required. Our bathroom was not ensuite, but bathrobes were provided and the bathroom was perfect. The accommodation was spotless and in good order.|Good choice for breakfast, and the owners, Pauline and Trevor were most welcoming.|There is off street parking and a separate entrance to the accommodation.|All this in a beautiful, fascinating and peaceful village.|It made an ideal spot for our short stopover on our way home from the Lake District to West Sussex in order to visit the nearby Chatsworth House.|Would stay at Innisfree again and recommend it and hopefully the weather will be...
Read moreWe always stay at Innisfree Cottage whenever we travel to Derbyshire, usually to meet up with my brothers and go to see Chatsworth gardens. Until COVID this was an annual event and we really hope that now this will continue. Pauline and Trevor are lovely hosts and do more than enough to make the visit enjoyable. The house is clean and comfortable, bedroom windows looking out on to their beautiful gardens and countryside beyond. Breakfasts are wonderful with plenty of choice.
