Visited on 23rd August 2019 where I had a Tuna Melt panini, a Egg & Orange Cake and a latte.
The panini was absolutely delightful. Not quite sure what bread type they used, although I have a feeling that it was Ciabatta, but I don't care, quite possibly the best I've had! A lot of other places simply use small white baguettes, which although are nice, pale in comparison with this little beauty!
The Egg and Orange cake was also delightful, and came with a Fig embedded on the top - got to be at least two of my five a day there surely???
And last but not least, the latte. Tasted great, and, unlike the majority of other tea rooms, and coffee shops to be fair, came with latte art! Did it make it taste any better? Probably not! From the very beginning, she was very communicative. We live in Kent so we emailed back and forth. We had the chance to visit to talk about the menu options. Their food exudes local, environmentally friendly, seasonal, fresh, deliciousness. They arrived to set up providing their own dishes, serving spoons, and table clothes. My highlights were the Mediterranean roast veg with basil and tomato pesto frittata; puy lentil, tomato, mint, feta salad; and lemon boozy pots just to name a few! I'd highly recommend Village Green...

The main reason that stirred me to write a review though was the Frittata, WOW! Saved as a takeaway for the walk that was the best Frittata I've had. Sumptuous and the flavours were kicking, I would recommend to anyone that likes a Frittata, will not be disappointed.
The young chap and lady serving food and coffees were very professional but also welcoming and...
