Epsom Feedback Stay 5- 8 September 2025

Here is our feedback from our first visit to Orchid Epsom.

Positives: Good signage, easy to find on google maps. Good location for our visits to family and friends living nearby. So glad to have accessible room on ground floor with no stairs. Nice touch to have a cube with charging points for mobile phones and iPad Comfortable, quiet and spacious room. Reminds us of premier inn where we often stay. Glad to have fans but did not need them this time. Great welcome and service from Hava our nighttime receptionist. Morning team also went out of their way to be friendly and helpful

Areas for Improvement. All tissues were very thin, single sheets which needed to be doubled or tripled before use. Reminded me of Soviet era hotels in Eastern Europe! No loo brush or spray so smell remained! Asked for two extra pillows. Often these are already in the room. Breakfast was adequate but lack of a breakfast room meant that we did not meet other guests unless we bumped into them by chance on entry or exit. Part of the joy of travel is meeting new people and sharing stories of places we have visited. This was missing! Sky sports on TV would have been good as I missed the US Open tennis final and hotel next door did not have Sky Sports. I am a keen tennis player, coach and fan. Thought room might have been serviced daily but it wasn’t.

Overall, we would award you 8/10 for the hotel and may come again when visiting family nearby in Cheam/Sutton

We stayed at Orchid Epsom for 10 days and had a truly comfortable and pleasant experience. The hotel is very well located with good accessibility to both local transport and nearby attractions, making it easy for us to get around during our trip.

The property is clean, peaceful, and well-maintained — perfect for families looking for a calm place to return to after a busy day in London.

What really stood out was the wonderful staff who made our stay memorable. A big thank you to Akhil, Nikhil, Abhishek, Hava, Safa, Ali, Darshini, and Laura — each of them went out of their way to ensure we felt welcome and taken care of. Their friendly attitude, helpful suggestions, and warm hospitality made us feel at home.

Overall, Orchid Epsom is a great choice for anyone visiting the area — a peaceful stay with exceptional staff and great service. Highly recommended, and we’d happily...

No problem too great, no request too small.

This is definitely the mantra at this hotel. Nothing was too much trouble, from help to dry our shoes after being caught in monsoon season in london (great problem) to assistance with the tea machine and taking a chair outside for a little bit (small request), the staff at this hotel are some of the absolute best and I would more than readily stay here or at any hotel where the service was this exceptional!

The rooms were lovely, quiet and well equiped for our overnight stay, comfortable beds, a large fan in the room and the breakfast delivery to our rooms was a pleasant surprise!

Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoy our overnight stop at Orchid, and I wouldn't hesitate to do so again. I sit here at the moment looking out from my comfy seat outside the hotel, watching the squirrels run around in the trees!...
