Very average food and absolutely ride owner. We had been to this restaurant for Onam dinner. Food was average and was served cold. The staff were not serving the food unless we call them and ask for it. So zero hospitality. The reason for giving 1 star is , we had been with two 4 year old children. We had fed then dinner before going to the restaurant so we decided not to take the meal for them. Instead asked the owner if they can just have a small plate to nibble some food from our plates. Both the kids hardly ate 4 spoons of rice from our plates. The restaurant owner got soo annoyed for asking an extra small plate and spoon. He Did not serve any food to our table instead sent his team members. Finally when it was time to pay the bill we asked him to include our 4 year olds food bill given his attitude. (kids meal was half price. £19 for a full meal. ). He charged us £12 per child....

We had been to this place for Onam Sadhya recently. Despite of having a table booked, we had to wait 10-15 mins before seated. And the owner asked if we had paid the deposit, but no one asked for a deposit to be paid at the time of booking. After 15 mins, we were given a table and it took another 10 mins before the food was served. All this time, the owner was very rude, maybe it’s his personality but it was putting us off. When he heard my husband tell me we should put all of this in a review, he started being nice to us, serving us himself. I completely understand and that this was a busy evening but they should have planned accordingly with more people to serve or taken less bookings. The food, however, was really good and very authentic which is why the 3 stars. The flavours and ingredients used were very original to Kerala. I would probably go again to this place at an off peak...

Absolutely incredible, 100% recommend to all. Even though it was very busy, we had exceptional service from Vadhya who was charming, professional and friendly throughout - she really went above and beyond and we were very grateful for her warm and gracious waiting. Additionally, the head chef came over to speak to us in person and told us about the food and the background of the restaurant which was very impressive. Everything is freshly prepared and truly authentic, homemade cousine; South Indian recipes cooked to perfection. There is a wonderful menu (I had mysoore masala dosa and meen pollichathu which both were sensational!) and there are also specials outside of the regular menu which were wonderful. Overall, a very warm, welcoming and kind atmosphere - a beautiful evening. We could not be more impressed and will definitely be back. Thank...

Authentic Kerela food in London is here.. we have tried multiple places in and around London, but Oottupura Restaurant is the best out there. Their quality of food , service and ambience is homely. Sunny, Teacher and their small team are dedicated towards bringing some the popular Kerela delicacies in the most original forms to remind you of home. The produce is carefully chosen and the food is freshly prepared which elevates the preparation. So people please have patience once you order or reserve before you go to get the best experience. I recommend going in with Freinds so that you can try most of their dishes. Skip a meal or two if you a foodiee😜 If you love Kerela food, Oottupura is your “place where the food is made with the soul”.
