Surrey Palace — Restaurant in Epsom and Ewell

It was okay. Nothing special. Delivery was quick. The answered there phones quickly. Big selection of food. I made an online order.

The online order was a hassle as I was given an offer code which did not work. I had already spent a while getting my order together so I had to order anyway.

Delivery was super quick. Really quick. It was there own driver as he asked me if I had paid or not. No issues at all here. It may have been quick as it was a Monday night. But beat eta Delivery by 30 minutes.

Food was okay. The chutneys were to sweet and generic. They were not freshly made. And was expensive for what it was. The naga was not hot, or lethal - as advertised. This was really dissapointing as this is meant to be the hottest chillie and I tasted none of it. Spinach was good - nothing special. The lamb In both dishes was good quality. Naan was okay again nothing special. Samosa has a slight sweet taste to it.

All in all. It was okay. Not worth £40+ to me. And the fact the voucher code didn't work was...

Not even worth one star! Appalling service, rude to my partner and I and our nine year old son. They said we had to leave as soon as we just finished our main course!?! Automatically - this put our backs up. Had we been told this when we booked by telephone and hour or so before, we would have had the opportunity to go elsewhere to enjoy a whole evening out. When confronted, they were rude by saying that the table was booked for other people and just wanted us out. They did not have any real answer or explanation for this unexpected unacceptable behaviour. Absolutely disgusting. They only seem to be interested in your money not your enjoyment. Ps. I've had to click on a star otherwise it would not let...

Booked a table last Friday for 7pm for my girlfriend and my 9yr old son. Towards the end of the meal we were told we had to pay up by the head waiter and make a move (approx 1h 45 min later) (also would like to add is the one who always asked if customers want to tip when paying the bill, totally inappropriate) and said we had to leave as soon because they work on a 2 hour slot. Had we been told this when we booked the table we could have had a choice. There are no notices within the restaurant or printed on the menu to support this. After a heated discussion we left and were told don't come back by the main waiter. Disgusting behaviour. A matter that will be reported to...
