We booked a week but left early. This apartment is in a residential area and the man next door works nights so if you make any noise complaints are fired at you.
Photos of the apartment are deceptive, it’s tiny and uncomfortable especially the sofa and creaky bed. We struggled with the position of the toilet, you sit with your knees pushed against the opposite wall! The finishing are of a high standard but the tiny amount of space is claustrophobic.
I thought from the photos we would have a sea view but instead a view of a noisy busy road which you hear constantly making disturbing sleep.
It says it’s dog friendly but only if you have silent dogs. If the dog barks then the neighbour complains to host and you have her on your back. We have a rescue dog who is in training and is nervous hence having a neighbour shuffling around the other side of connecting fence causes problems for you.
The neighbour actually goes out of his way to make the dogs bark by tinkering the other side of connecting fence then complains they are barking. It’s like he enjoys a game of make the dog bark and then complain! The neighbour and host gang up on you which ruins any enjoyment. They stand outside talking about you and looking at the apartment! You feel most unwelcome and we left early losing our money.
There is a rundown pub just over the road and a Chinese takeaway but anything else is a car journey away. You can walk to the beach but it’s along a road with no footpath hence it’s so dangerous.
We had to live out of a suitcase as there is only a tiny Ikea like very slim wardrobe which takes about 6 hangers, no drawers for your clothes, having paid top price, this is unacceptable.
My advice, book somewhere else if you have already booked then when you arrive TAKE PHOTOS OF EVERYTHING as the host will keep your deposit. Most importantly take photos of the laminated floor as it is damaged and when you leave they will say you did the damage and try to fleece you for nearly £500, makes me wonder how much money they have made before from this scam.
There are loads of lovely lodges in the area, do yourself a favour and book one of them as they offer you space and are much more comfortable and you will get privacy away from a moaning neighbour and host who doesn’t leave you alone.

Read moreMe and my partner had a wonderful time staying here. The owner is a friendly and welcoming lady who greeted us from the main road (we got a bit lost) and showed us around her lovely apartment which has so much attention to detail. She gave us a quick talk on what was around and how to get to it (there are leaflets in the apartment anyway). I thought it was lovely how there was a new tooth brush in the bathroom, extra loo rolls and even pads/tampons incase you have forgotten anything. Loved how you're right on the beach and close to pubs and places to eat. There's a corner shop opposite which is handy. We spent a couple of days doing absolutely nothing which was fantastic, and some of our time exploring. There's plenty to do if you're into getting out and about, and great views and local pubs if you just want to relax. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others. 10/10 for cleanliness, attention to detail...
Read moreWhat an amazing place! Julie, the host, went above and beyond to make our holiday—mine and my sister’s—absolutely unforgettable and incredibly special. The cottage is stunning, decorated with such beautiful taste and attention to detail.
We were also lucky enough to use their beach hut for the whole day, completely free of charge—just because Julie and her husband are such generous and lovely people ❤️
When we arrived, we were greeted with a huge basket full of goodies! Julie had thought of everything: breakfast, lunch, and even a delicious bottle of wine.
And if that wasn’t enough, at the end of our stay I mentioned how much I loved one of the blankets and asked where I could buy one. Julie kindly gifted it to me!
Honestly, I can't express enough how wonderful this place is and how kind-hearted and thoughtful the hosts are. We will definitely be...
