Ardchoille — Hotel in Great Britain

At the time of writing only the self-catering part of Ardchoille (Ardchoille Garden View) is available - B&B has been suspended for a while. The self-catering is semi-detached from the owner's residence, and we understand it was formerly occupied by a relative of the owner's. It has retained the character and charm from that time, but with modern facilities to make one's stay convenient and relaxing. The owner is delightful and was very easy to deal with before and during our stay. Location is good for Port Appin, Castle Stalker and Oban; Glen Coe is just over half an hour's drive. There is a well-stocked Premier store only two minutes' walk away with an excellent but busy cafe opposite. The accommodation is sensibly priced and thoroughly recommended. Was the nicest B&B that we have ever stayed! Definitely five star in ever category. Breath taking views, immaculately clean and comfortable. Host and hostess are the best that can be found anywhere! Breakfast simply amazing! Only down side would be that there are no restaurants within walking distance of this property. Cab is available, but at higher than expected prices. Great accomodation.. nice room and excellent breakfast. Marion is really a fantastic hostess, friendly and full off postive energy. Sitting in the beautifull garden is wonderfull and a small restaurant, store and gaz station are nearby. Excursions to Mull, Lismore, Fort William and Oban are easy from this location. the best B&B on our 2018 Scotland trip so far! Marion, thank you very much for all your care and good advices.
