We only stayed one night here and loved it. They have two different room types; bed and breakfast rooms and a self catering cottage. We stayed in the b&b. Room was smallish and nothing flash but had a very comfortable bed and everything we needed. And breakfast was excellent; cooked to order whatever you wanted. Great hosts.||There were 2 bonuses staying here. Firstly, they have about 20 acres of land and on their front paddock were 2 highland cows. These magnificent cows with their long shaggy hair are so great to see. Read moreI stayed here for a night with the wife and two little ones aged 3&4. Met by a lovely older gentleman who had no idea which cottage we were staying in, got the wrong cottage initially. It turns out we are not staying in a cottage at all it’s a chalet. Although immaculate clean interior we were disappointed as the so called double bed was tiny and extremely uncomfortable. Having paid £130 for one night in a cottage we felt completely let down. The perimeter fence is topped with barb wire so we could not let the kids play outside either. Read moreWe stayed in the self catering unit 'The Garden Suite'||Best description is 'tired' it needs a good refresh and for the price it needs some decent equipment.||A washing machine but no maiden to dry the clothes "take them to a laundrette" She doesn't like to encourage people to use the washing machine!||I've run self catering for 12 years and in that time I've stayed in countless others - this is the first that didn't offer a teabag never mind a finger of shortbread for the weary traveller!||No sign of Pat Testing and the hoover with the taped cord looked very dodgy...
