Bed-and-bread — Hotel in Great Britain

Stayed here for one night to meet up with wider family who had rented a big house nearby. This was a big deal for my elderly mother as it was the first time she had stayed away from home since before lockdown and is recovering from a fractured spine so has limited mobility. Rene and Britta could not have made things any easier. Communication before we stayed was easy and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We popped in at the last minute and Rene and Britta invited us right in and made us feel at home. We spent a lovely evening with them and the other guests who arrived later. The private whisky tasting and education was marvelous and we ordered in delicious Indian takeout. Our room was perfect with a comfortable bed and nice hot shower. Britta and Rene were really lovely! We had a great evening chatting and tasting whisky, the breakfast was superb, and Lola (our dog) really enjoyed playing in the garden. Although Blairgowrie doesn't have a huge amount of tourist-y sights, it is very conveniently located for a lot of great activities all around in Perthshire from Dunkeld to Scoon palace, golf and more!
