Counter order Cafe /Restaurant. Very packed when we arrived. maybe during less rushed hours service is more personal. Almost 15 min after order they came to the table to say they didn't had the broccoli soup. Menu is varied and fearly big soft drink selection. Ordered the chorizo panini and chorizo soup. Ham and Cheese toasted sandwich. Broccoli soup. Minute Steak Baggett. (basically a steak and cheese) The chorizo soup Was ok. Good flavor in general but tasted like meat spaghetti sauce. Was expecting more distinct chorizo flavor. However the white bread accompany the soup was fresh and soft. Great bread. 👍 The chorizo panini was great. I did get the chorizo flavor the sundried tomato does complement it nicely. In general the food is good however the staff is clueless. The food took 30 min to get to the table and they swap some of the food with another table. The try to get it back after they served it to someone else. And still came back wrong. The staff keep comming with food and looking around every table asking if it was their order. The minute Steak finally arrive after 40 min. And it was underwhelming. It was bland. They use a sweet roll that doesn't work with the sandwich. overall it was disappointing. But to be fair the chorizo sandwich was excellent. I will advise to visit during non rush hour hopefully you get a better experience.

We fell upon this Cafe as we stopped for a break on our way to Edinburgh. What a beautiful Cafe, a lovely surprise when you go through to the back, and very interesting too, dates back years and all the info is on the wall inside. The staff were lovely and very welcoming and and the cakes were delicious, great coffee too. Very clean and a lovely Home from Home vibe! Thank you Ladies for our lovely experience. (Even though I nearly left without paying ! ha ha ha ....by accident! ...very embarrassing ha ha)

Stopped by on a Sunday morning on our way back to Glasgow. Had a really lovely full breakfast. I liked how you could pick your own items. All items looked and tasted of high quality, and were cooked perfectly. Free refill coffee was included with the full breakfast which was a nice touch. The building is beautiful. I did a wee bit of research on it whilst waiting on my food which was really interesting. If I'm passing through again, I'd definitely stop at The Dome.

Our usual cafe in Blairgowrie has closed down. This is our first visit to the Dome restaurant and it was a good experience. The Coffee and Danish were very good and reasonably priced. Service is normally at the counter but the lady working there said she would bring it to our table. On reading the menu we noticed the information advising counter service. At busy times a visitor may not have seen the information immediately and may have waited long enough to place their order. The double doors were fine for most customers but we saw a young mother with a pram struggling to try opening the doors to get her pram/buggy through. A wee bit of a problem and some safety concerns. Also handy for car parking nearby. Good alround cafe. Would...

Disappointed today Food came wrong, for the second time... Poor older ladies next to us waited 45 minutes for a sandwich and when it came they said they had waited a while, the lady that served them said that they were very busy, but there were only 4 other tables in, so for a restaurant not busy at all! And then said if you don’t have time to finish it we can give you a box... it was quite rude and the ladies at the table were polite about it, however one of the servers was not, and quite abrupt. Food is usually quite good, but I would like to receive what I order, and the poor ladies next to us just made us feel bad that they were still sat... Probably won’t come back until these issues...
