Woweeee |I dare you not to say that as you walk into your bedroom. |Such eclectic decor and so many things to look at. |Bed was huge & very comfortable. |Walk in shower was great. |The hosts provide you with everything you need, so if you forget your shampoo… it’s there, if you forget your deodorant, it’s there, if you forget your face mask… yep… it’s there. |Breakfast was amazing. I have to say that I thought I’d miss a full English… nope. The choices are vast, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, flans, sausages, scotch eggs, toast… it goes on & on. All bought to your room, warm & fresh at the time you request. Plus 5 different choices of tea & 5 types of coffee. |Sarah is a most magnificent hostess. Welcoming just doesn’t do her justice. Met her husband Bobby as we were leaving and he too, greeted us as friends. |An absolute must if wanting a stay, just out of town.||Just a heads up. There was a mention that they may sell & move on to pastures new… so you best hurry if you don’t want to miss out on a hosting experience,...

We had the most amazing stay at Belmont House. Host Sarah could Not have been more welcoming. Her home is stunning, a beautiful building with an amazingly calming but positive vibe. We visited in October so had the added benefit of the fabulous Halloween decorations. Breakfast brought to the room was great and included some delicious homemade items. Drinks provided in the room were also excellent quality. The room was very clean with a luxurious feel, the bed was super comfortable and there was everything you could possibly need in the way of toiletries - not just standard shower gel, shampoo and soap ; there were things such as hairspray, deodorant and even a lovely sheet mask. Honestly Sarah's thought of everything. Location was perfect for us to visit a friend nearby, plus hop on a train into Edinburgh for the day ! Thoroughly recommend, and would love to stay again...

Just returned from a short weekend break and all I can say is this place is fantastic. It’s so unique and colourful and Insta ready. Sarah the hostess/owner is an absolute gem, so friendly and welcoming and nothing at all is any trouble, she treats you like a friend, hospitality needs more people like her, briefly met her husband and he too was a nice friendly guy. Our room was stunning, lovely comfy bed and en suite with a rain fall shower which is always a win win for me, there’s even a choice of shower gels, washes etc amongst other bathroom products, I could go on, it’s just fab…|Breakfast is amazing, if you’re expecting a fry up, then you’ll be disappointed but the choice you do get is fantastic and you can have it all served in your room….|I would highly recommend and would stay here again,...
