Blue Anchor House Holiday Apartments — Hotel in Great Britain

Just spent a fabulous 2 weeks here. We stayed in Applegarth. The accommodation is lovely, very comfortable with everything you need. Really enjoyed the garden and the hot tub 😁 The owners work really hard to make sure everything is kept nice and are really welcoming and helpful. They also made a fuss of our dog, and there was even a doggy box provided with a couple of treats, poo bags, towel etc, and a tag for his collar with the details of the accommodation on just in case. On arrival there was fresh milk in the fridge, and a good supply of tea, coffee and sugar which was much appreciated. The bathroom was nice with a really good power shower and bath. The kitchen is loads nicer than the photos show. It has a large window with spectacular views over the garden and out to the sea, which is very close by, and a dining table which is great for meals in. Also a large fridge freezer which was great for us as our dog's food comes frozen, so there was more than enough room for 2 week's supply. Location is fab, very short stroll down to the dog friendly beach and the Driftwood cafe which we enjoyed. A little further takes you to the Smuggler's pub, both venues dog friendly. In fact the whole area is very dog friendly. It's also a great base for days out. Short drive into Minehead for shops, bars etc.. Dunster is a lovely village close by, worth a visit. Watchet is close too and has a market on certain days. Lynton and Lynmouth definitely worth seeing. The shared garden is lovely and each apartment has its own patio area if you want privacy, but to be honest you pretty much have the garden and hot tub to yourself as other guests tend to be out and about all day. We visited for 3 nights as a family of four in Headland Heights. The accommodation was tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. The views from the living room and balcony were stunning particularly at sunset. On a sunny day we commented on how we felt like we were abroad! From the master bedroom it overlooked the steam railway station and was lovely to have a ride into Dunster with the children.Staying in Headland Heights gave us exclusive use of the brand new hot tub, decked area and BBQ. These are lovely holiday apartments in an excellent location with great views. They are clean, spacious and well-equipped. The shower and pillows were the best I've ever used and the hot tubs are clean and well-maintained.

The apartments are a few minutes walk to the beach and a one minute walk to the steam railway station. Minehead is only a five minute drive down the road.

The owner and her assistant are both very friendly and helpful, but also respect your privacy.
