Popped in for a quick bite and was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, especially the cream tea, if you haven't had whortleberry jam before I urge you to go here and try it, it is amazing, the best cream tea I have ever had. The best thing aswell, they sell the whortleberry jam for £3 a jar, I bought 3 to keep me going. We ordered a cheese sandwich and I was amazed by what came out, please see pictures. Again great. The views were good aswell, and also free parking right on the seafront of blue anchor, you don't get that anywhere nowadays. We will definitely be revisiting here in the near future.

Landed here for a planned breakfast and I'm so glad I did. I got the regular Blue Anchor breakfast but swapped out my tomato for mushrooms. And they let me trade my mug of tea for a glass of Pepsi too for no extra cost. It's a busy place with some fantastic views that shouldn't be missed if you're on holiday here. As for the food, it's top notch. Not your regular cheap stuff you'd get in bulk. It's got some real flavour to it and I really enjoyed it, don't miss out on something special here folks.

A great cafe not far from Minehead. A good place to go if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the busier resort of MInehead. The staff were all very friendly and although they were quite busy when I visited I was served promptly and efficiently by the friendly staff. You can also benefit from the elevated position of the cafe to take in the wonderful views of the coast and you can see right the way across to Wales. A perfect place to stop for a bite to eat and a drink.

This has got to be the worst cooked breakfast I have ever had, so disappointing!

This looked a lovely cafe to have something to eat as we are staying at Holburne, just down the road that has no cafe or restaurant on site, another disappointment!

The cafe was completely empty except for one table, which we thought was very strange with its idea location and breathtaking sea view's inside?

We ordered our breakfasts and hot drinks from a nice young girl at the counter after waiting for quite some time to be served, the coffee was lovely, but the food, which arrived far too quickly, was so dried up and stone cold, not fresh at all like the Google reviews state!

My Husband ate his as he said he was starving, so was I until this junk arrived, I couldn't even get my knife into the sausage, so tough, yet completely raw on one side and burnt on the other, this breakfast must of been cooked absolutely hours ago, if not, yesterday!

I left mine as I knew my Husband would suffer with his later on, but while we were sitting there, two people came in and sat down on the very next table to us with 2 dogs, of all the places to sit, as the rest of the cafe was empty, I didn't think dogs would be allowed in there near food, as it is completely unhygienic, plus I suffer terrible pet fur allergies, and started sneezing and itching straight away!

We will not be using this cafe again as the food is shameful for the prices they charge, plus why would I want to purchase food in a place that allows dogs to walk around freely and slobbering everywhere, cos even if the food had been cooked perfectly, ( fat chance) I certainly wouldn't of had an appetite after dogs walking in, smelling the place out, as all I should of been able to pick up in there is food smells, but unfortunately, there were no aromas of anything delicious to give you an interest in eating,!

All we heard was constant banging and crashing thuds from miserable looking members of staff finally clearing the tables, filling up the cutlery, coffee machine etc, etc, what is there to be miserable about working somewhere with a view like that, as I would love going into work everyday, and would go out of my way to give the customers a happy experience, not give them what we got, and maybe the time has come for the owners to find a more...

Well, let's begin. Went here with my daughter last week. They had a 1/4 burger meal on for £10 and a child's chicken nugget meal. What we got well let's just say wasn't as advertised. First off the staff have 2 speeds, slow and stop. The young lad at the till couldn't seem to get anything right first time and took a long time to do anything. We ordered our meals and there fresh orange juice. We got 1 orange juice freshly poored from the carton in the fridge and another that was pre poored some time ago that was sat on the side. The burger cam out. That was no quarter pounder. That was a tinned burger that sat in the middle of the bun, didn't come close to filling it and left the bung soggy with the juices from the tin. I had asked for them to out cheese on, it wasn't, so they obliged and took it to put cheese on. After hearing the "chef" ask where do I put the cheese, I wasn't filed with hope. It was just pre grated cheese sprinked from the bag. I left extreamly angry at being charged £26 for a burger meal, kids nugget meal and 2 orange juices. To be fair the nuggets actually looked OK. And I'm sure the staff are lovely people. It's just not somewhere I'll be going again, shocking food quality at shocking prices with woefully...

This is a little seaside cafe in an interesting seaside hamlet that boasts of many camping and caravan pitches and a couple of pubs. The cafe is popular with all kinds of visitors throughout the year, no doubt assisted by the apparent lack of competition. It does not pretend to be a "London" style restaurant so you will get what you should be expecting from a down to earth seaside cafe. The staff are helpful and friendly and I have never been here without receiving a smile. The coffee is great, the patisserie has always been fresh. I don't go here for main meals but from what I have seen served to others I would be quite happy to do so. Yes, they are "dog friendly" and I am definitely not, but I have never been worried as most owners are considerate and if I am concerned I find a polite word is usually accepted graciously. Eat inside or out, with a panoramic...
