What a charming village this is, with this fantastic B&B! A lovely room with tea/coffee facilities and a bottle of water. It also has a nice bathroom. In the evening, you can easily walk into the village (there's a sidewalk, so it's safe) where you'll find numerous restaurants. The breakfast room is beautifully decorated, with beautiful glass art and artwork created by Jackie. The breakfast is delicious! Jackie gave us some great tips about hiking in Snowdonia. You can reserve a parking space at Pen-y-Pass online, but you can just as easily take the bus, which stops almost in front of the B&B. The bus leaves from the same side as the B&B, ask Jackie about departure times. For an additional £1 you can buy your return ticket. We hiked to the top of Mount Snowdon, taking the Pyg Track up and the Miner's Track down. It was a steep climb, but with the most beautiful weather in the world, it was truly enjoyable. There are even more hiking trails, and Jackie and Gary can give you excellent advice on them. We got another great tip from Jackie: behind the station (on the platform), turn right and cross the footbridge. Keep walking and you'll see an old little church, definitely worth a visit. The large church in the village is also worth a visit. It was wonderful to meet Jackie and Gary. We had a great stay and felt very welcome, thank you!

Quaint stone property with a cosy, homely atmosphere—perfect for a memorable stay in Bod Gwynedd while climbing Snowdon. We recently stayed at Bod Gwynedd Bed & Breakfast during my Snowdon climbing trip, and it was an unforgettable experience. The location near Betws-y-Coed is perfect for accessing Snowdon's trails via the S1 bus right outside your doorstep. The hosts were welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. The accommodation was charming with cosy rooms and beautiful countryside views. The breakfast, made with local ingredients, was delicious and hearty. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate dietary preferences. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality provided by the owners. They shared advice or general conversation, and provided information packs and showed a genuine care for their guests. Free Wi-Fi and comfortable common areas were additional amenities that enhanced the stay. Bod Gwynedd Bed & Breakfast is a perfect base for Snowdon climbers. With its ideal location, charming accommodation, delicious breakfast, and outstanding hospitality, I highly recommend it for an unforgettable stay in Snowdonia National Park.

We truly enjoyed our stay with Jackie and Gary! What a lovely abode they had, filled with their love of the area, especially the artwork! Our hosts met us upon arrival and immediately gave us a plethora of choices for hikes and locations to eat in the evening, along with priceless tips about where to park and when to book the mountain train. They have a pretty good sized car park in the rear of the house, but there is plenty of open parking in front, as well. Our room was on the 1st floor and we woke up and went to bed to amazing views. Our visitor information book, while we abided there, was filled with helpful hints and advice. Gary and my husband seemed to be on the same wavelength when it came to choosing which hike to do and where to go each day. Thank you! Sometimes, it can seem daunting when you're in the thick of it. We loved every trek! The breakfast was awesome every day, too. Jackie made sure you had your choices available each day and we loved that she allowed you to update each day or not (your preference). She even accommodated our need to have fresh washcloths everyday. Our wonderful departing gift was warm, fresh-made bisquits that she hoped would help us on our journey if we got hungry. We are happy to say they did help us, but we didn't get very far before we had them at our first stop! Lovely B&B, truly kind and responsible hosts, and a beautiful part of the world it...
