Find Me Cooking — Restaurant in Wales

After a full day around mountains and lakes in Snowdonia we stopped for an afternoon coffee, tea and something sweet. All coffee shops are by the station, we were told so we crossed the bridge from the north and stumbled into this unexpected experience. Even though we arrived just a few minutes before closing the personell treated us with the uttermost friendliness even after closing but not only are they friendly, they bake their own marvellous cakes! Jane even shared some of her inner secrets to the most wonderful millionaire's shortbreads I have ever had and when I told her I happened to eat the whole of mine before letting my wife try it we got an extra sample for the road! Don't miss out trying this place and also take the opportunity to try the free exibition including VR goggles and a short fly over the mountains cinema experience next door. Just as good for us adults as for any family...

shivering, windswept and uncomfortably moist: 2 travellers happened upon this oasis of warmth and vittles towards the end of a cursed quest.

the quest: to find hand made, fresh Welsh cakes, made by Welsh hand and cooked with Welsh fire to then be consumed on Welsh soil.

settlement after settlement had previously greeted their requests for fresh welshcakes with sad shakes of their heads or derision.

they had all but given up hope.

but in betws they found the cooking at "find me cooking" freshly griddles discs of Welsh confection were offered to rapturous gasps.

not only are these some of the best Welsh cakes the adventurers had had.... they might very well bethe only freshly made Welsh cakes in North...

Tracey & Rebecca did a stunning BBQ to fit our summer wedding. They were in contact throughout the planning process, they were invested and inspired by our ideas and couldn’t have made organising the food a more creative and enjoyable experience. The presentation was incredible, they catered for all dietary needs of our guests and the BBQ menu was colourful and tasty, with beautiful side salads, homemade dressings and local ingredients.
