I decided to visit Cornwall for a few days. I chose to stay at a Premier Inn, on arrival there is a lovely large car park with plenty of parking and at night the car park is well lit. There were security cameras pointed all around the car park which is a really good deterrent, can't comment on if they work or not.

Normal check in with Premier which was quick and easy. The lady on reception was polite and friendly.

My room was on the first floor. On first appearances the room seemed ok but after a very short time quickly realised that it was stained quite badly that made me feel like it was dirty. There were what can only be described as semen stains on either side of the bed. Stains on long seat and stains on the chair.

The bed made a noise with every turn. I looked underneath and it looked someone had tried to repair the bed with two large pieces of wood?

First night I had someone bang on my door. When I got up, noone was there. Second night I could the room next door with their TV on till early hours preventing me from sleeping.

On my final day, I walked through reception to go to breakfast and the person behind the desk had the heat up so high it was roasting walking through, which I made a comment on. When I returned a short later, not sure if it was manager but a male member of staff had opened all the doors to allow the fresh air in.

I left just after 10am, leaving the key card...

Exceptional Service and Comfort at Premier Inn

I recently stayed at the Premier Inn for two nights, and I must say that the experience was nothing short of excellent. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the reception team, particularly Lizzie and Jess, who were absolutely fantastic. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine willingness to help made them stand out as the best hotel receptionists I have ever encountered.

On my first night, I encountered an issue with the air-conditioning in my room. I mentioned it to the reception, and without hesitation, Lizzie and Jess immediately arranged for me to be moved to a different room. The swift and seamless manner in which they handled the situation was truly impressive, ensuring my comfort was never compromised.

The rest of my stay was incredibly comfortable, and I felt well looked after the entire time. The hotel itself is clean, quiet, and perfectly located for my needs, but it was really the exceptional service from the staff, particularly Lizzie and Jess, that made this stay memorable.

If you’re looking for a hotel where the staff go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect, look no further than Premier Inn. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning...

A very well priced Premier Inn in a convenient location in Cornwall for travelling to a number of attractions (St Ives, Paradise Park, Lands End, St Michael's Mount etc).

The room was standard in it's design although dated in a couple of places. The A/C system was nice and quiet which is good since the road nearby can be loud if you open your window. The mattresses were comfortable but pillows a bit soft for our preference. We did have to reorganise the beds for our children to regain a corridor (yes the beds all fit next to eachother but no-one had room to step out the sides of their beds). The bathroom was in good condition with a decent shower (once I tightened the head) and no signs of mold.

Breakfast was in the restaurant nextdoor. Most items are standard for a Premier Inn however the cooking quality of the hot food was inconsistent and some of the berries for the yoghurt/cereal were still frozen. Staff were also slow to restock food as well.

Please note the 4-star review is for the hotel and breakfast facility, not the restaurant (reviewed separately but not recommended for...

We stayed with our two children, who are wheelchair users. We found the Premier Inn to be fully accessible to us. We stayed during the COVID-19 lockdown. We stayed in an accessible room which the staff made up as a family room. We rang up at the time of booking and requested this, and whilst staff were slightly unsure, they agreed. When we arrived, there were only 3 beds, but the staff quickly rectified this, despite being very busy. The rooms are air conditioned, so we slept really well. There was plenty of room for the four of us, plus all our equipment. The wet room was fully accessible, with a shower bench (but no hoist). We chose to collect food from the adjacent restaurant and eat in our room. This was very smooth, quick, and easy. The wifi was very patchy, and didn't appear to be designed to support as many guests as the hotel could hold. Staff were very friendly, and made us very welcome. All-in-all, a basic but comfortable hotel in a great location.

This was our first stay at a premier inn and definatly wont be our last. Very warm welcome on arrival by friendly receptionists. Our room was very clean and comfortable, had everything we needed. The breakfast at Table restaurant was buffet style and had a large choice on offer from contintal breakfast to full english and no restrictions on what you could have including tea, coffee and juices. Also good to be able to get drinks from the bar in the evening and take back to our room. There was plenty of parking including disabled spaces at the entrance. Great experience, will come back again and also try other premier inns as well on our travels.
