Real Pizza — Restaurant in England

We ordered our pizzas last night and had a mixed experience. I HATE leaving mixed reviews but feel this is fair...

Pros The team went out of their way to ensure we could eat the pizza (with one of our party having a peanut allergy). The pizzas themselves were really good.

Cons The delivery took an hour and 45 minutes to get to us (we were very hungry as a result and this could have been communicated a lot better- we were told they'd be with us within one hour). Please take down the 'We support the NHS' picture that appears in your search results. It's inaccurate and misleading as you may have offered a discount during lockdown but this isn't available any more. This is part of a wider issue whereby businesses who advertised an NHS discount during lockdown should still be doing something indefinitely (NHS workers have still got it so tough and any discount that is then removed when the spotlight is taken away seems guilty of tokenism). Absolutely blown away! Best pizza I’ve had in a long time and ciabatta garlic bread to die for! These guys know exactly what they are doing when it comes to pizza! They say they’ve spent years studying the art of pizza making and it shows. Lovely thin base, perfectly balanced toppings in the exact right quantities (not scrimping and not overloading but every bite had the right amount of topping) and the quality ingredients to deliver an awesome flavour punch! My children had the 14” New York style pepperoni and they polished off the lot… normally dustbin daddy has to intervene and this time I was disappointed not to be called upon! My wife and I ordered the Gabriel’s pizza, loved every single bite, just the right amount of chilli heat and the meats bursting with flavour in every mouthful! Keep up the good work guys and please open a branch in my home town...

It was our first time there, and it certainly won't be our last. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we felt a warm, welcoming atmosphere. All the staff greeted us with warm smiles, almost like hugs from a long-lost friend (it was our first time there 🤩) We each ordered a pizza (peperoni with fresh chili peppers, a classic margarita, a margarita with olives and nuts, and a delicious vegan pizza), drinks, and we decided to order desserts after finishing the pizza. The appetizers were perfect taste : the breadsticks with aromatic spiced olive oil, the garlic bread were delicious, then the pizza, and then we couldn't move because we were so full of deliciousness, so we took dessert to go 😍 Definitely the best service and pizza we have had...
