I purchased a traditional steak pasty and I bought a flaky cheese and onion for my wife.

So in my opinion:

Price & Value For Money: 4/5. Flaky pasties: £3.80, shortcrust: £4.10. They were big and substantial.

Form & Filling: 4/5. My wife said she would have liked more cheese and I mainly found 2 large chunks of steak in my pasty.

Taste: 4/5. Both pasties had lovely pastry and the fillings were delicious. The meat in the steak pasty was soft and tasty.

A huge thank you to Helen and the team for feeding the family and friends at my mum's wake. Flaky steak and flaky vegan were snaffled down. The gluten free people were almost in tears they had a decent pasty to chew on. Also for the side of the family that onion isn't an option, no problem - their pasties were onion free! Professional, kind and you made many people happy on a sad day....

Hi went back to c if things had got better since the last visit...nope it hadn't pastry not cooked thru stoggy on inside. Steak was ok vegetables uncooked.no salt and pepper pretty tasteless ..I had flakey pastry ..as not cooked thru enough was not nice ... Sorry no more second and third an forth chances .we won't be back If u want to be shown how pasties go to lavender...
