Very nice hotel. Typical premier inn with the upgraded rooms. Room has plenty of space and tidy size tv of around 32". Bed is spot on with nice pillows. Rooms look a lot more professional than the basic and business Travelodge rooms. The superior though is on par with decor but has coffee machine for the coffee conesour. The heating is a little bit poor not warming the room up enough for my liking. Other premier inn hotels offer radiators. Like Macclesfield north. Parking is good for cars and large box vans like the Luton or large Volkswagen/Mercedes crafter/sprinter. I drive a smaller Renault trafic and had not issues parking here. A nice Harvester next door with good selection of food. Would recommend. Reception staff friendly but I think Polish and will speak in front of you in their own language. If I could speak my native tongue of Welsh I would do the same back and see if they understood that. Other than heating and language of reception it was spot on. The Reception do speak to you in English when serving and were very polite so don't want to seem like I'm picking on them. Both ladies were lovely and always greeted me when entering the property. Sat nav does take you further up the road so if you are approaching with the premier/harvester on your left just slow down as you need to turn onto Racecourse road/drive then turn into car park to hotel....
Read moreI have been visiting this hotel for many years. My stay is booked in advance for 2 nights in June/July/August. For the past 4 visits, I have hit a heat wave in Manchester!||I have stayed at a range of hotel in this area. I like this hotel for its location, the walk in shower and the staff. As I spend a good deal of time out of the hotel I am not concerned that breakfast is not available on site. Some options are offered for a small fee at reception.. The rooms conform to Premier Inn spec, so one knows what to expect. The staff are friendly and helpful. The core of the team have been in Wilmslow some years and take a pride in their work. They make my stay as comfortable as they can.||On this recent stay, I found the wi-fi less reliable than on previous visits, despite it having been renewed. I was upgraded to 'ultimate ' but this too was not reliable. Very frustrating.||Although each room has a fan, it is noisy and makes little difference to the temperature in the room. The bedding is synthetic and not conducive to sleep on a hot night. ||After several years suffering these regular heatwaves, in Premier Inn, Wilmslow I will be reluctant to book again in the summer months, unless there is air con and more reliable wi-fi at the hotel.||I am sure I am not the first and unlikely to be the last, to report...
Read moreDisappointed with this Premier Inn. Location wise, it's near perfect for proximity to airport and there's a good BBQ restaurant next door. Unfortunately we weren't given a WiFi code on our arrival and I personally struggled to sleep because there was a consistent rhythmic vibration coming from the wall behind our heads. Our room was adjacent the reception on the ground floor so it must have been some electrically powered equipment from the reception area. Bed was comfy enough, just a shame about the noise. No air conditioning either! Just a fan provided to blow...
