Visited the restaurant on Valentines Day evening. After being seated (without the main menu) I had to approach a member of staff after 25 minutes for somebody to take our drinks order.
Took an hour for the starters to come without an apology or excuse for the delay. We didn’t say anything as we considered they may of been busy but when it took another 55 minutes for me to ask the waiter on the whereabouts of our mains when the restaurant was half empty clearly there was an issue.
I politely asked where our main meals were after 55 minutes and the waiter was very rude with an horrible attitude, so much that the couple next to us that overheard him was shocked in disbelief.
The response I received after politely informing the waiter ‘Matt’ we had been waiting 55 minutes for our main; “I know that! there are two couples before you so you will have to wait”
A little explanation or even basic acknowledgment would of been appreciated but we was practically ignored as if we hadn’t ordered a meal.
His attitude was so disgusting and by that point had been sat in the restaurant for nearly two hours and hadn’t received our main meals, I requested the bill for the drinks and starters and refused to give this restaurant another penny.
Completely ruined our valentines evening, a restaurant we chose to visit half an hour out of our way to sit there for two hours for a starter and a couple of drinks.

Read moreI can't say anything about the food, but I can share my experience of their website maintenance and on-line booking system. I organised a family get-together (dinner & film) on boxing day. My mother expressed a desire to try this place, so I looked in up on-line. Both google and the restaurant's own website said they were open that day, from 5pm. I booked a reservation on the restaurant website for 6 at 5:30pm, and received an email confirmation, inc confirmation number. I arrived with my elderly parents at ~5:15pm, to find the lights on, music playing, but the doors locked. Thinking they were maybe just running late, I spent 15 mins stood outside in the cold calling (no answer) & knocking, until eventually someone came to the door and rudely grunted to me that they were closed and I should leave. I tried to show them the email reservation, but they didn't care to see it. Please keep your online reservation system up to date, and don't be rude to customers who think it should mean something. Read moreAn ok experience, for a premium price. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly waitress, shown to our table, and had the rules explained "a la corona". The host was very attentive and we ordered soon enough. Everything was great so far, and there were only 2 other tables occupied. Despite this, the drinks took quite a while to arrive, and unfortunately this set the tone for the rest of the evening. 10 minutes wait for drinks, 10 minutes wait for starters, 15 minutes for mains, 20-25 minutes wait for desserts. Ordering a jug of water for the table took the dreaded "second request" when it didn't arrive after 10 minutes. The food was nice enough, definitely not anything to complain about, except the per head price. Maybe I'm picky, but I'm used to paying less for better food.
If I had to sum it all up in a word I'd say "ok", but that's not really acceptable from a restaurant claiming a premium experience and...
