Really enjoyed staying here. Typical style from a premier Inn. Has exactly what you need, comfy beds, tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer was available in the room, Aircon/heating that you are able to control the settings yourself. Good size TV with plenty of channels including cbeebies - which was perfect for my friend's son. Towels were provided and extra pillows. Free WiFi was available and you can also pay an extra £5 for higher speed WiFi for up to 3 devices. I stayed in a family room along with my friend and our 2 children (aged 3 and 11), there was a double bed, single and a 'pop up'. The bathroom was clean and the shower was lovely - decent water pressure also. There was also hand wash and body provided (big bottles not those tiny sample size ones). The only slightly annoying thing is the toilet roll is that kind of individual sheets you pull out the holder and very poor quality. Luckily there is a huge Lidl (which shuts at 10pm) right next door so we just grabbed a pack from there. We found it very handy having a lift available to get to our room as we were on the 2nd floor. Good amount of free parking there - you just need to give your reg to reception. 2 vending machines in the reception area with drinks and snacks available. There is a beefeater pub a few feet away from the entrance of the premier and if you add on meals to your stay, that's where you go for it. We added on the breakfast option and I'm not sure if this is a usual offer available but for each paying adult (£9.99) your child would eat for free. It was unlimited breakfast and plenty of choice was available, cereals, toast, croissants, crumpets, pancakes, all the usual jams, marmalade, chocolate spread (in mini sample size), fruits, yoghurts and of course hot breakfast - sausages, bacon, eggs, hash browns, black pudding, beans and tomatoes. Lots of teas, coffee, hot chocolate, juices - apple, orange or cranberry. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast! We had planned to go to Paignton zoo the next day which was perfect and not even a 10 minute drive from the premier. Highly recommend this place and would...

There is a Beefeater Restaurant on site, table reservations can be made at reception, with 25% discount available with BlueLight Card app. The room was is exactly what you expect from Premier Inn, very comfy bed providing a good nights sleep. Our room was located on the 3rd floor on the road side of the building yet the noise was minimal and non intrusive. My wife tells me the hairdryer was decent, complete with concentrator and located next to vanity unit with well lit mirror, decent size tv, and usual desk and chair. The en-suite bathroom included a shower over the bath which had a deluge shower head and my wife liked the Baylis and Harding hair and body wash and hand wash. The only negatives is no electric toothbrush and razor charging point, you need to bring your own adapter plug and we didn’t have a phone charger socket (suitable for iPhones). Depending on your fitness level probably best to drive to Paignton seafront although we walked but steep hill to negotiate, plenty of parking in Paignton. We checked out car par pricing and it was very reasonable at £3.50 for 4 hours.Great location to stay for visiting other nearby seaside towns like Brixham, Dartmouth...
Read moreWill start with the positives: clean and tidy room shampoo body wash provided
No so positives: pictures are deceiving the hotel is outdated and in need of a uplift. location and parking is a big nightmare receptionist was a let down. friendly upon arrival however arriving a large family of 3 adults and 4 children when it came to booking dinner this was a big disappointment. We arrived at 4pm to have a table “booked” for 6pm. When we made our way to the restaurant the same receptionist told us there was no tables until 8pm. The receptionist could not be bothered to come up to our room to tell us and admitted he should have. Instead decided to wait to catch us right before we were expected to go to dinner. having 4 young children this was unacceptable and would have expected better service. We had no further help from the receptionist and considering we were not from the area we had to drive around and try to find a restaurant that had availability. I made it clear to the receptionist i was unhappy and he just kept saying sorry i should have come up and told you.
Wouldn’t stay again based on this experience will happy stay elsewhere with...
