This property is definitely not up to standard, especially for the price!||||Upon arrival we discovered that the rooms were not clean at all. This included all rooms in the apartment, floors, bathroom, kitchen, and windows. there were pubic hairs on the chairs around the dining table, hair all over the apartment for that matter, a plaster on the floor, months of dust on every surface (especially the ones slightly out of eyesight) and under the bed. Not to mention that the windows hadn't been cleaned for months. It was easy to see that the floor hadn't been mopped either. The high touch areas (door handles and light swithches etc) were difinitely not clean or disinfected all during the time of a worldwide pandemic!||||we left after 15 minutes, and we were promised a full refund by the manager via the platform we booked through, however since that day the hotel refuses to answer their phone or their email to us or the platform unless called from a number they do not recognise. Completely unprofessional and petty.||||These people are not fit to run a hotel. Their negligence is bordering on criminal in my view, and they have no regard for people's comfort and safety at all. If you'd like to increase your chances of contracting the virus then by all means...
Read moreJuan and Belen are lovely hosts. We have stayed here several times, and have been very happy each time. ||||We did ask to move rooms - the first room we were in (Little Chalfont) was quite noisy. I think it's above the bar. The second apartment was Gold Hill. This is spacious and relaxing. The bathroom has a bath with a fitted shower.||||Each apartment has cooking facilities and a fridge. There is a very well-stocked supermarket about 2 minutes walk away. The tapas restaurant downstairs is expensive, but does serve great food.||||The hotel is well-situated close to the A413, and within easy walking distance of most of the shops of Chalfont St Peter. The rooms were cleaned every day. Each room has a kettle and complimentary tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits. Our coffee machine stopped working, but this was rectified without delay or issue.||||I would happily...
Read moreReally disappointing experience at Rioshouse George Inn. When we first arrived, hotel has lots of rubbish outside the building and appearance wasn't great. Upon entering our room we were met with a foul smell of smoke, especially in the bathroom which was advertised heavily on the properties website that this is a non-smoking building which is clearly isn't. The room was mediocre, poor quality bedding, leftover drinks in the fridge and a gritty/hairs on the floor. The bathroom was full of orange mould, an unclean toilet and dust over all the extractor fans. We rushed out to a party which we were attending nearby, felt extremely uncomfortable about coming back so when we returned we packed our bags and left. Wouldn't recommend. Rooms should be...
