I visited Spice as a change from where I normally go in Chalfont and it was fantastic. I had the evening buffet which was £19.99 and this got me poppadoms, chutneys & dips, starter, main course, rice, side dish and a naan. The food was very tasty and presented beautifully. The lamb Noorjahani was particularly delicious and I would recommend, being a creamy spicy curry that was very different to anything I've had before. There are 3 Indian restaurants in Chalfont St Peter and I've tried them all. (not good for the waistline!) This is is the one I prefer for eating in and takeaway. The service is very good - they are attentive, quick, helpful and unbelievably courteous. It is usually quiet from Sunday to Thurs, when you probably don't need a reservation and they're offering a discount at the moment. I've been tussling with 4 or 5 stars. The fact that I cannot make a decision leads me to 4 as 5 stars should be without doubt. Food is very,very tasty (rich,fiery prawn vindaloo last night for me with my wife properly enjoying her chicken chef's special) but both our recent delivery orders arrived later than advised; not massively but 15-20 mins. Also, I like paneer! Paneer shashlik, chilli paneer, mattar paneer, paneer jalfrezi etc.etc. Sadly, none are to be found...
