The Coasting Pilot Hotel — Hotel in Great Britain

We've often used the coasting Pilot for special occasions meals as a family as they used to do fantastic 3 course menu. Mother's day fathers day Birthdays. Etc ! |To our horror an confusion we thought place had changed management. |Menu Used to be 3 course for set price an excellent value for money. |Menu Mothers day not just to our opinion but to few paying customers found it disappointing as it was set out as single meals starter |Main then desert all priced separate extras like Yorkshire puddings or pigs in blankets that where on beef turkey or pork dinners was included you have to pay for . |Veg is minimal roasted very small portions tasteless an horrible frozen peas. |where before you was given selection different steamed veg to add of your own chose beautiful cooked 😋 an could ask for more including cauliflower cheese and mashed swede. |Now meat you only get one choice . |Mooing Beef very |Roasted chicken breast which I had an left after I cut into it an it was spongy an pink . |I didn't get to see what belly pork looked like ... |But many left there beef an chicken I know my family was still hungry after as there wasn't much on the plate it was made to look like Gordon Ramsey meal in back street pub |£13 meal |Starters where £6 |Soup of the day bread roll |Prawn cocktail|Deserts. |Was fantastic though. Once again we popped into The Coasting Pilot, for a family (7) Sunday roast, of which we all thoroughly enjoyed. You’ve done us all proud, yet again Margaret & gang, we are all much Appreciated towards your culinary skills. Your food once again was and is excellent, which is why we pop to you quite often, throughout the years. Your staff are to be proud of for sure, the two young ladies, do you proud for sure.
