Atlantis fish and chips, Cafe & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Wales

Since opening we have always enjoyed this lovely chippy, however recently I have found the chips have gone down hill, I'm not sure if it's the oil or they are just being cooked too long but they are very dark and have a tang taste to them. Cover them in gravy and they are ok but on there own I was disappointed. The staff and cleanliness is still very good...

Revisited 29th Jan.... revisited since my initial review and back on top form. 5star around not just back to excellent quality but again place is spotless. You have managed to sort out the potatoe blip and back to top form ...as I'm typing im digging into a fantastic supper....

So glad to see the old Barry’s chip shop open. It is now run by a new team of staff and the food is fantastic. I have been here a few times and the chips are lovely and crispy. The sausages and nice and tasty. I have also had the chicken curry which was really nice. I love the fact that they ask you when your order contains curry or curry sauce “would you like spicy or mild” I have had both and they were both nice and would recomend either. Decided to try Alantis tonight for first time. We decided to ride out for tea something we haven't done for a long time due to covid so we very much looked forward to it we weren't disappointed everything we had was delicious and there was plenty. We had fish battered burger and rissoles. All well cooked and tasted lovely. Batter was light and crispy chips were cooked perfectly. Can't fault the food we had, also staff friendly and patient and the whole place was spotless. Will be coming...
