Lovely property in a location peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle . Gorgeous house. Some areas of the house have been clearly modernised recently. Large bathroom and en-suite in main bedroom . Child’s room furniture is a bit worn however this is understandable as why would you put new furniture in a child’s room that may be easily damaged. I would just suggest sanding and a coat of paint to revamp. Regardless child’s room was perfect and very clean and adequate for what was needed. Two rooms had amazing walk in wardrobe areas. Plenty of space for clothes. One room was for a cot which wasn’t required as we didn’t have a baby but there is an option for an additional bed. Lounge was lovely with comfy gorgeous sofa, a lovely table and chairs , cheats need a little wipe didn’t bother me but chairs had some pet hair and stain which I wiped. It wasn’t anything bad but just thought I’d mention so hosts are aware . Large garden was lovely private hot tub area one side and setting the other which was nice with a large lawn no flowers which I’d love to see as a lover of plant I’d. have liked more flowers but I understand this requires maintenance so didn’t bother me. Hot tub was very bubbly this initially was a concern because previous reviews stated not enough bubble but I think maybe this was human error and people were not able to work it properly I did not one of the jets wasn’t working but still plenty of bubbles maybe they could look at this. People complained of the noise from gulls and single pain windows however you can’t blame this on the property your at a seaside town what do you expect , yes windows could be updated however it isn’t really essential because if it’s summer you have windows open so will hear them regardless. Kitchen was great clean and all mod cons tumble drier , washing machine and dishwasher . I would give the place five stars but needs a few changes for example normally places have a welcome book with instructions for things for example tumble drier said airways needed cleaning but we didn’t know how to do that so couldn’t use. No codes for lock boxes in garden for chair cousions and floatation device to put chlorine in hot tub as requested by hosts, or leaflets on local activities and eateries. I think a guest book for feed back and a welcome book with house rules , important info and local amenities would be a...

Do not believe all the glowing reviews. The house is in a council house type estate (nothing wrong with that, I was brought up on a council estate) but just does not sit right. The minute we (family of 6) walked in, we all said, we aren't stopping here. It did not smell nice. Needed cleaning, carpet disgusting. The place just looked dated and in need of a up date and decorate. The windows were discusting. The patio door lock did not work. The garden was a discrace. Hot tub a accident waiting to happen, and it was over looked by neighbour. The wi fi did not work. We all started to look around for alternative accommodation. But due to the kids off school and a bank holiday week end, the was no vacancies anywhere. So had to stop one night. Next day we went a stayed in a beautiful house in Norwich Cost another £600) We paid £1,100 for 4 nights in the Burgess house, the hot tub was a further £100. Air B said they would pay us £100. The owners would pay £100, but the converted to euros which was £70 some pound. We would not loose all that money if there was not a really reason, all the pictures on the Web sites look beautiful, but in reality looked nothing like it. Go there at your own peril. YOU...

The house was great, clean and spacious. The house had all the amenities you’d need really well stocked with everything you’d want. Big garden with a hot tub. The owners communicate well with you and are responsive to your needs. I’d definitely recommend this place and would stay here again if...
