Very beautiful location stayed with family river running outside the window peaceful one of the best we’ve stayed and keep returning won’t stay anywhere else you get to the staff daytime and night new member balal very nice gent manners second to none and as with all the staff nothing is a issue for anyone housekeeping they really do just that rooms are immaculate and previous comments of customers saying air fresheners used to cover smells no far from these are timed I use them in my industry and room are fresh as promised of a premier in. Towels are fluffy clean and smell good and let’s face it god loves I person that will try to pick a niggle as a frequent guest issues none never apart from my first visit my fault didn’t realise card had to face downwards thumb grove to the top right but was told this funny looking back now as now well it’s home from home to name a few staff lists endless Adrian manager Anna summer, Lisa night times Kelly Karyn again Adrian and thanks to everyone last but not least the beefeater which serves the food good breakfast as expected better than normal sometimes I wonder why this hasn’t been put on a premier plus list as it’s close to Harlow train station close to local shops outlets such as Harvey center and everything is there but a peaceful place I’d like to ask for feedback as if this was London central which is only 5 short stops by train £12 why are people so picky when a fresh bed full size bath 6 ft 4 and lots of room rooms are cozy you have control of your own heating just as you do home so all you do it turn the arrow left and turn it down if your rooms to warm but again people will always try to find a fault hoping for a refund or free night stay which annoys me silly things like I say in business you do your best and nothing wrong here with such a close team relationship and communication that is the key to a successful stay for us as customers and for the staff which again I...
Read moreI checked in Friday 14th May 2017 with a wedding party of around 30. Our rooms were booked up to a month before as there were so many of us. On the 15th we attended a family wedding not too far from the hotel..... Everybody was very joyous and happy from the days event but was very aware of the time that we came back to the hotel, so naturally tried as much not to disturb other guests. However, when checking out Sunday 16th our wedding party was told that we'd had 7 separate complaints made about us and that Premier Inn had to refund those guests and even change their rooms... This is an outright lie. If we had been making noise, why wasn't we asked to keep it down at the time Why was there no investigations made before giving 7 guests or more refunds Why did they take the words of 7 against the words of 30 Why were we asked to fill out forms when it states 'Guests will be asked to provide proof of identity and nationality upon check-in. Overseas guests, excluding Republic of Ireland and Commonwealth citizens, will be asked to complete a registration form and provide their identity card / passport details. Acceptable forms of identification are: a passport, driving licence, ID card or police warrant card.'
My cousin suffers from back problems and was given a room with a sofa bed to sleep on. She deemed this unacceptable and asked for her room to be changed. The clerk refused and told her that the hotel was fully booked, yet had space to move 'said complainers'
I feel that the way this situation was handled from the start was disrespectful and henceforth has been even worse.
Premier Inn refuse to refund us in regards to the lack of sleep our wedding party received and refuse to apologise for the lies told against us.
Premier Inn Harlow have racist staff members... I say this because the 7 that...
Read moreThe hotel, Premier Inn at Harlow North was dreadful. On arrival the area outside reception and the Beafeater restaurant was scruffy and dirty with old leaves and wind blown rubbish. We had made our booking with you on 3/10/24, so we foolishly expected a good room similar to the one shown on their website and TV advertising. However on entering the hotel the reception area is dated and scruffy with poor paint and old carpet etc. it was dirty! We were greeted kindly by the night staff and given the keys to Room 1. This is immediately next to reception and the interior doors and exterior front reception door. I returned to reception and asked for an alternative room as we had arrived late by a delayed flight; we were tired and exhausted. However the staff could not find another room for us, so we had to use Room 1. On entering the room it was tiny, old and dated. The bed filled the room with no space for a chair to sit at the desk. The carpet is ancient and ingrained with years of dirt. The room smelled damp and sweaty. However the bed was clean and the towels clean but worn thin. As I have a worn right hip I normally sleep on the right side of the bed and use a respirator at night. But there is no power socket on that side so I was forced to use the left side which had a power outlet. Consequently my nights sleep was interrupted and then people leaving at 4.00 am onwards and the doors opening and closing. The WiFi didn’t work at all. I tried to complain to Premier Inn but they insisted that I complain to Holiday Extras. All in all this was the worst experience after a long day of travelling. Probably not Holiday Extras fault at all but you need to know. Please check out the Google reviews and you’ll see that I...
