AVOID.

With multiple choices of Indian restaurants in Harlow, some of which have been around for years, don’t bother trying this place as their customer service is non existent.

Last night I placed an order around 5:30pm, with total understanding that there maybe a delay due to the snow. I’m not ignorant and by all means would have been happy to wait patiently for my order to arrive. However, a hour and half went by still no sign. According to uber the order had been cooked, processed and was out for delivery. After numerous phone calls without answer, I eventually got through to an individual who clearly didn’t care and wasn’t interested. I was told that the food hadn’t even been cooked yet, let alone left the restaurant when I had considered at the time waiting. To be told this, in a rude manner. I asked to cancel, he simply fobbed me off and told me to talk to uber. They are fully capable of cancelling their end.

During all of this, there was no updates from the restaurant, there was no contact made to advice of the delay and ask if I’d like to continue with my order (which a lot of takeaway restaurants do).

It was now around 8:30pm when the driver turned up, that’s nearly 3 hours since the initial order being placed. I had told them to cancel the order around 7pm which clearly they didn’t bother doing. Happy to take orders but no interest in their customers when there’s a issue.

As a small business owner myself, it’s the customers that ultimately pay the bills, pay for the stock, staff, without customers a business wouldn’t exist. A little more respect and interest in solving any issues your customers have will go a long way.

.......Disappointing Experiene....

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this restaurant and I feel compelled to share it to save others from a similar ordeal. From start to finish, the service was abysmal, and the food quality was far below expectations.

Firstly, the customer service is shockingly rude. When I called to inquire about my order, the staff was dismissive and unhelpful. It's clear that they have no understanding of how to communicate respectfully with customers.

The delivery time is misleading. Although the UberEats app indicated a wait time of 10 to 25 minutes, my order took over an hour to arrive. This is unacceptable and shows a lack of respect for customers' time.

The food itself was another letdown. The biryani was tasteless, overwhelmed by an excessive amount of spices that did nothing to enhance the flavor. The Peshwari naan was another disappointment, barely containing any of the signature Peshwari filling.

Additionally, I paid £4 extra for king prawns, only to receive a few very small pieces that were certainly not worth the additional cost. This felt like a complete rip-off.

Overall, I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Between the poor customer service, inaccurate delivery times, and subpar food quality, it was an all-around negative experience. Save your time and money and choose a...
