Booked a 1 night stay as a stop over for visiting my old stomping ground. The pitch is basic, BUT, suited what we wanted. EHU on an open field. Seeing as there was only us and someone in a tent, it was quiet and meant kids and dogs had a bit of freedom :) We text the number in the morning as advised for gate code which we got a response which was all good, however on arrival, there seemed to be no "check in". I text the number again to say we had arrived, however got no response. We asked the other party on the field who said they had similar and had gone to the restaurant and the person didn't seem to know anything about it, and had just been pointed to the field. This meant that we had no idea of facilities in the morning and no idea if there was an elsan point or not (which being a site which advertises it's a C&C site at the entrance I would expect them to have...) £45 for what we got seemed steep... If it included children's soft play time or even a breakfast maybe it would sit a bit better. But considering other sites we stayed at for the same price, there was no "service" here to warrant the price. We didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on the other features of Beck's Farm which may be lovely, but it feels as if they are trying to get into the camping scene with a spare field but don't really understand what they are doing as of yet. Maybe this will change and in which case, yes we would use again :) The site is behind locked gates so is secure which is nice 🙂

Very disappointed in their Easter egg hunt. A hunt like no other!!… that’s for sure. We paid £15 as adults have to pay too and it was the worst experience even the kids asked ‘was that it’ eggs not hard to hunt for at all and not much in the way of decorating it Easter style. The large eggs in a nest were wet and paint came off all over my kids hands. Stall with a tombola style thing not worth the money and if paying separately it was £3 for a biscuit!!! No inflatables or trampolines open when we were there either. The Easter bunny came out and to be honest that was the only part my kids enjoyed. I do not expect the organisers will care at all as the only reviews they seem to acknowledge here are the positive ones which are about the softplay or restaurant, both of which we have enjoyed previously but this rip off would make me not want to return again.

Disgusting customer service!

Booked for pumpkin picking I have a 4 year old and a 7 month old baby.

Weather is absolutely dreadful weather warnings put out over the UK to which I'm not prepared to take my children out in.

Contacted them for a refund as im away the following week and it's the last week of the event. I was told no but I can reschedule for when I'm back and they will save a few pumpkins for me to collect. Not enjoyable for my 4 year old at all to go to an empty filled to pick up a few pumpkins and go home

The event 1 should have been cancelled due to the weather warnings 2 if you can't attend an event within the dates due to circumstances out of your control you should be able to get a refund!

I find this absolutely disgraceful and disgusting they expect people to either bring their kids out in terrible weather with warnings put or lose their money. They are very rude and have no customer service skills whatsoever.

Never will be booking again absolute joke wish I read all the other reviews before booking as from what I've seen I'm not the 1st and probably won't be the last to give a bad review!

Reply to their comment below: I explained I am away the following week so can't attend the event. No further option was given apart from to come to an empty field after the event is finished which I will explain AGAIN is not enjoyable for a 4 year old!

As these are the circumstances they should have offered a refund instead of replying with rude and ignorant emails! Then go on to block me on all social media after leaving bad reviews on...

This is the former Kelseys farm popular with walkers. The new owners have done a great job of refurbishing the whole place while keeping many of the former attractions such as the kids club which seems very popular. They have a camping area and ablutions for campers. There's a nice seated area outside and a farm shop. The shop is not quite what it once was with less lines available. There's a nice restaurant with a pizzeria. The bar is extremely expensive with draft beer at £6.75 per pint! A bottle of London pride is a whopping £5.75 with smaller bottles at £4 each. It's a place I'd love to be able to sit and have a few beers in its lovely country setting but unfortunately because of the extortionate price of drinks I couldn't afford to. Paying £6.75 for a pint is ridiculous outside of Knightsbridge and I would feel ripped off! Obviously they want to recoup the enormous amount of money they've spent on this venture but they'd do a lot better if they brought down the price of alcoholic drinks. They'd probably have much more footfall if they reviewed their prices. The nearest pub is a five minute walk whose custom they could harness if they were in the slightest...
