Casino Inn — Hotel in Absecon

I like to give honest reviews and I dislike giving a negative review. Most of my reviews are positive. I tend to look at the bright side of things. I tell it like it is, at least from my perspective and my experience. I have been there once recently. The whole property could use work. It had just rained and the whole Whitehorse Pike had flooded. The motel is located next to swamp land and is below the water level. Besides the smell at low tide, the front entrance gets significant flooding. Makes it difficult to navigate your car and impossible to walk. The property is not well maintained and it could certainly use an upgrade. When I went there, there was glass all over a portion of the parking lot. One of the positive thing are the rooms. They are large and offer a living room, separate efficiency and bedroom. Unfortunately, the rooms could also use an upgrade. Another positive, is that the Casino Inn is a very short drive to the Marina district and it’s Casinos. Plus a short drive to downtown Atlantic City. It lives up to the Casino in its name. If you go west, up the highway, you can reach the quaint and historic town of Absecon. There are plenty of places to keep you occupied and fully stocked on your trip. There are two large chain supermarkets, liquor store, restaurants, interesting shops, ice cream joints and a Wawa. Another positive. This is certainly not the complete list. If they updated and maintained the motel, it would be a decent place to stay. I will keep an eye out...

This place is horrible. Owner Sam is very nasty and disrespectful. He screams at you like your his child. The linens are absolutely disgusting. Every towel, wash cloth, and pillow cases are all stained and terrible. I don't know how the motel is even open. You see he is a 2 star motel. He does that himself. It could be better if he spend a little money and got new linens and so on. The sheets are the only clean thing and that's because they get sent out to be cleaned. The maintenance, room cleaner, his maid Charlie doesn't DESERVE to be treated the way they treat that grown man. He does everything for Sam and again he is very unappreciated. Works him like a 🐕 DOG. Wonder why he gets no tips, it's all the owners fault because of the linens he has to put in the rooms and so on. I would never advise anyone to visit the Casino Inn. Sorry but you see all his reviews. How horrible is that??? And he doesn't give a damn. Once you disrespect a female that's all it took buddy. Also he charges all different rates. Depending on what you do and if he knows he will charge you 500.00 a week or even 80.00 a night in the winter. Outta his mind. Girl I know was an massager supposedly and he charged her outrageous prices. Another 👪 of three came tried that 500.00 a week. Are you really SERIOUS?????? Never in my life have I ever heard of such a motel treating customers the way they do. Karma...

Horrible...I made a reservation paid by credit card for myself and my two little ones. They advertise check in at 11:00AM. My children and I arrived from out of state at 8:00AM, I walked in to inform a man we will be waiting in the car until 11:00 for check in, Please don't give our room away, were from out of state here for a 2:00 pm wedding, he stated very nasty and rudely that he can't guarantee me a room, I stated to him I have a reservation number paid by credit card, he started screaming at me he's the manager been in the business for 17 years, reservation don't mean your guaranteed a room I could find myself waiting until noon, 3:00, or 4:00pm that's the way it work. I reminded him reservations mean that my room is held once I get there I'm provided a key, he disagreed began screaming at me who am I to tell him his job in a matter of fact go get a room somewhere else, but he will not give me a room.
