I stayed here for 2 weeks while participating in the sugar beet harvest for American Crystal Sugar.  No one was on the premises when I arrived. Calling the phone number got me an answering service that can only pass along a request for a callback. The return calls came from a "private number" so if you screen calls you may miss it & then have no way to return THAT call. Chase your tail. Eventually got check-in info/assistance from my contact at Express Employment Services, which had booked the room on my behalf. On the positive side, I can say it was quiet, the hot water was plentiful & reliable (tho it had a distinctly metallic smell), towels & linens were clean & the room had no smell. But in the minus column: The floor covering was lifting & separating in many places (vinyl faux wood strips over who knows what) over a very uneven surface. Floor was gritty. I bought a broom at Dollar General just to sweep the grit under the bed. Tub faucet belched black water when first turned on, then dribbled hot water continuously no matter how hard I cranked it off, stained a washcloth black & yellow overnight (? ). Air conditioner barely worked, room got up to 81°F with A/C set to 68°F & running continuously. Only cooled off after sundown. Multiple power strips daisy-chained to each other to provide power to lamp, TV, fridge & microwave. Had to unplug mini-fridge before using microwave or breaker on the power strip would trip. After breaker trip, had to set clock on microwave every time before it would operate.  Daylight visible around edges of the poorly sealed door. After a couple nights, I found most comfortable position on bed was lying crosswise at the foot of the bed, where mattress wasn't hammocky. No ice machine on premises. The only time I saw anyone running the place was one afternoon when I was trying to sleep there was a knock on the door (despite a "Day Sleeper 9a-5p" sticker on the door) and when I cracked open the door, a young woman, who never acknowledged or addressed me or apologized for the interruption, said to someone in the hallway, out of sight, "Oh, this room IS occupied! I gave you #10? I'll get you another room". I'd fully decline to participate in future harvests if I knew I'd be placed at this property. Your mileage may vary, but I wouldn't bet on it. Several prior reviews noted some of these same issues months ago, but apparently nothing was done to address them. Traveler, beware!

This motel needs to be tore down and rebuilt. The person at front desk older women has no personality. The rooms need to be upgraded. No table in rooms. Beds don't have blankets on them. Bathroom needs to be upgraded. Hair in bathroom sink. Main floor had garbage under stand by refrigerator. Dirt under the beds. The night stand mounted to wall with holes showing. There is no coffee pot in the room. No phone in the room to call front desk. The entrance u need to walk down inside is not heated it was as cold in the building as it was outside which was 20 below zero. The walls in hallway had holes and no trim. A family member had to shovel a path to the door so we wouldn't have to walk in the snow. The noise coming from the next room was bad barking dog. Banging on the wall. Paid for 2 nights left early only stayed 1 night refused refund. No contentiental breakfast only 2 choices of instant coffee. Lady at front desk not pleasant. I would not recommend this motel to anyone and I feel sorry for the city of Ada as this is the only motel in town. The place was still decorated for Christmas the lights on the outside on. The heat was turned way up in the room and the window does not open. No spare towels or blankets in the room. Please upgrade the beds. They r as hard as a cement very uncomfortable to sleep on the.lamps r a big joke as well. The price is too high for what little...

We both camped here (the have a spot for RVs) and used the motel. We had a hard time finding anyone manning the desk - had to call two numbers and after awhile someone showed up. He seemed unsure what to charge. We were overcharged over 350 dollars and when I called to address it (I had to "discover" it on my credit card bill weeks later, there was nothing but stonewalling. I spent 40 minutes on the telephone with the person that did the overcharge and she could not do math and could not follow a thought. I was told that the owner would call me right away. I called back 3 times over the next few days with the promise that the owner would call back. Finally, she calls me several days later at 9:30 at night and I have to start over again. I have been promised that the 350 dollars will be refunded. An absolute nightmare. We did not have electricity or water for the camper for several days because of their broken water fixture and the electric outlet being 60 feet from where they had us put the camper. If you like...
