One of the best Hampton Inn hotels I've stayed in. Facility is newly renovated and has nice clean grounds. It is close to the Reyes Adobe park being about 10min walk away. Staff ate friendly and courteous offering service with a smile and can-do vibe. Rooms and bathrooms are immaculate and bedding is relaxing. The breakfast room also gives a feeling of a lounge which helps to make the dining experience more pleasurable. Coffee is nice and bold and though I'm more a fan of Espresso coffee, this filter type coffee was bold and not watered down. Breakfast offerings are consistent with Hamption style I.e. continental++ and everything is fresh, tasty, and clean. Nestled just below the Lindero mountain canyon there is a sidewalk outside the hotel that stretches more than a mile. Bikers will enjoy the dedicated bike lanes on either side of the road as well. Good value for money and look forward to coming back.

We had the unfortunate circumstance of staying in a less expensive hotel one night of our two week vacation. The rest of our stays were all Hampton Inns. The difference could be compared to the difference between a county fair and Disneyland. You may pay more for one, but the exceptional experience is well worth it. This hotel did not serve the usual breakfast due to covid, but the service otherwise was top notch. The pool area is very clean and well kept, as are all of the grounds. I appreciate the fact that if there are two queen beds in the room, it is assumed you will likely have more than two people staying in it and therefore will need more towels. Not all hotels take that into consideration. The beds are marvelous. Not too firm and not too soft. It's nice to have full sized pillows and four of them per bed. AC/Heater is efficient. Coffee, tea, microwave, fridge, all part of the room.

We had a pleasant two night stay. The gentlemen who checked us in was very friendly and informative. Breakfast was good, cheese omelet, bacon one day, scrambled eggs and sausage the next, with toast, bagels, muffins, yogurt, cereal, and make your own waffles available. Everything was nice and clean. The pool and jacuzzi were open and had towels outside for our convenience. This is a great place to stay the night with it only being 30ish minutes away from the beach. If you're looking for outside food I recommend the first Mediterranean restaurant listed on the sheet they give you when you check in, the chicken and beef shawarma is delicious and they dont skimp out on the meat. We would definitely come here again with our family with young children. Thank you! Ps. I also think it is great that they offer complimentary female products in their restroom that is located by the lobby.

I've been avoiding to write a review on this place just cause I didn't take any pictures. But here it goes! We traveled here for vacation last month and stayed there for five days. Even though check in is at 3 or 4pm we got there like around 12.30 or 1pm and were able to check in early! This was a Plus for us cause we've been driving from Az with a 6,7,15,20 and a 22 years old plus my hubby and I. We were done and we needed to check in ASAP!! So checkin in this early was extremely helpful! We had two rooms which I needed them to be close or next to each other since this is all our kids and all girls so we could have an eye on them for security and piece of mind! Which they were able to accommodate for us! Though when we got to our rooms they both smelled weird like wet dogs. Both the rooms smelled the same so we assumed they all smelled like this, so we opted for opening the windows and let the rooms air out everyday. I did notice the rooms on the first floor(we were on the third) smelled really nice. Which them made me think they dont follow the same cleaning techniques for the rooms. Our rooms were clean, they both had a mini fridge which was necessary since we brought stuff so we didn't have to spend extra money buying more stuff. Each room had two beds and the showers were clean though ours felt hollow when we stepped in some places in the bathtub. I will say this the most annoying thing was the air conditioning, it was so loud I couldn't sleep well. The breakfast was good, waffles, cereal, eggs, breakfast meats, bread, bagels, milk, coffee, yogurt, juices, oatmeal! I cant complain on this free breakfast with every room! Which its another plus when traveling with the big of a craud that we were! The pool was fun for the kids but we mostly spend our time at the beach which was about 25minutes away! Overalls our stay was nice! The staff was helpful and attentive! I would come back yes! It also helped that the hotel is next to the freeway! Tons of places and...

My party arrived at the hotel at 2:45. After standing around at the front desk waiting to be greeted, the manager, Mr. Patel finally appeared at 2:50. He didn't greet me, didn't apologize for my wait, nothing. I had to tell him I was checking in. He barely looked up from his computer and said I couldn't check in until 3:00 and to wait in the lobby. I realize there are hotel policies, however I have never, ever had to wait to check into a hotel if there were rooms ready. You can't tell me that there were no rooms ready at 2:50 (without even checking the computer), but they were magically ready at 3:00? Then, at 2:58. Mr. Patel (the manager!) said "let's go!" and he and two employees went out the front door to smoke a cigarette! The result? At 3:00 there was one employee at the front desk, and several guests waiting in line to check in. Had Mr. Patel simply checked in the guests a few minutes early, there wouldn't have been a long, frustrating wait while we watched Mr. Patel smoke his cigarette in plain view of his guests. I have no idea why he would have left the front desk right at that time, knowing he made everybody wait, but it was infuriating. I may have accepted this attitude and behavior from an employee, but certainly not from a manager. The next morning Mr. Patel was at the front desk again, and he was the only one there despite several people checking out. After waiting for several minutes I asked for towels for the pool because they were out. He rudely told me I'd have to wait, and he'd have somebody bring some out. I waited for an hour and no towels. My kids had to wait outside the pool, shivering, while I went back in to ask again. Mr. Patel was again at the front desk, and acted as if my request was the first he'd heard about it. I was very disapointed by the service, and appalled that it came from the manager. the hotel was nice, the rooms, bathrooms and linens clean and fresh, and the...

Stayed here recently for 2 nights in a 2 Queens room. The room and bathroom were very nice and comfortable. The hotel had warm cookies available at check-in, and tea/coffee available in the lobby throughout the day. Very pleasant and caring staff. Really appreciated the fact that their laundry room and fitness centre were open 24/7, and the fitness equipment provided was really good and allowed both cardio and really good resistance & strength training. It came very handy during the bad weather we’ve had during our stay. We booked here as a base for hiking and exploring the area including Malibu, and it really was a great location for that, even though you need a car to move around, even to go to restaurants etc. The only thing I didn’t like was rather poor quality products at breakfast time, i.e. corn syrup for waffles, only very sugary products, that would be probably loved by kids, but not great for us, all in all. Depending on the day, you may have very limited choices especially if having any dietary restrictions or being health conscious (i.e. they added bacon to eggs one of the mornings). You might be ok as a vegetarian, vegans could probably only have coffee and apples for breakfast. And there were indeed people at breakfast time, not looking happy, who were literally only having coffee and a piece of fruit. Other than the disappointing breakfast, this was a very good choice for exploring this side of ‘LA County’. Would gladly return when...
