El Mesón Sandwiches (Borinquen) — Restaurant in Aguadilla

Not what it used to be. Prices are going up, to be fair prices are going up in most places. Yet in Meson the prices are up and the meat in the sandwiches are almost non existent, very little meat, lost of coleslaw thrown into the Sandwich to make up for the little meat, breads are big to fool you like your getting a big Sandwich yet it's empty inside. Cheese is a little thin slice for such a huge bread.

Meson is not what it used to be, I no long eat there as their Sandwiches are not Sandwiches anymore, If you want a coleslaw sandwich head over to Meson.

There Coffee is good, but I've since skipped drinking coffee there since I don't eat there any longer.

Head over to Econo Super Market on rt 110 they sell boars head there, buy some Pastrami, American Cheese and a Warm bread at your favorite bakery and call it a day. You can make yourself a nice Sandwich for about $5 instead of paying almost $9 at Meson. Just a suggestion.

Service- It can be a hit or miss and sometimes you get a snooby cashier and sometimes you get...

So delicious! The coffee is the best always if only I could have a giant cup!

The only negative thing I can say is the service, specifically the cashier taking our order. Jocelyn was very rude while ordering. She was giving attitude and seemed to become annoyed while my friend was ordering his sandwich with extra mayo, extra pastrami, the cheese of his choice, extra hash browns, etc., and for myself when I asked for no ham on my omelette sandwich.

People will remember services provided always! Positivity and a smile goes a long way.

I am so glad I had the opportunity to eat at this restaurant! They have more locations than the average mom & pop shop which is super convenient if you're looking to eat there more than once during your stay or living on the island. The staff was super kind and patient while my English brain was trying to read their Spanish menu! They even offered to help if needed. The restaurant itself is really clean and very modern as well. If I hadn't made it clear earlier, I do recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a YUMMY warm...
