Villa Flamboyan - Blue Sand Collection — Hotel in Aguadilla

We had the pleasure of staying at Villa Flamboyan - Blue Sand Collection in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, over New Year’s with my family and another family, including our kids and the other family’s two grandchildren. This place was absolutely breathtaking! The views from the property were stunning, and there was plenty of room for all of us to stay comfortably.

The pool was fantastic, and the private beach access was beyond incredible. The backdrop of the caves against the ocean created a magical setting, and walking into the warm water with miles of ocean ahead was pure paradise. Watching the sunsets from the property was unforgettable and truly a highlight of our trip.

We also spent time next door at Villa Carambola, where another family stayed. It had equally breathtaking views, an incredible patio area, and a modern, updated kitchen, dining room, and living room that were spectacular. Both properties have their own unique charm, and you honestly can’t go wrong with either.

Wonderful spot to get away for a week. A great house for my group of 10 friends. Each of the 5 bedrooms has a private bathroom with shower and air conditioning control. The house includes enough communal space to never feel crowded, even when everyone is outside. Snorkeling off the small beach reveals plenty of sea life to remain interesting day after day. Other nearby activities include horseback riding, ATV rentals, golf, and more. The house's recommended chef, the executive chef of a nearby restaurant, cooked us a delicious meal one night which was a delicious sampling of local treats all made from scratch in the house's kitchen. We were all very impressed. Depending on the time of day, traffic just outside the neighborhood is surprisingly heavy and it can take longer than one might expect...

My families stay at Villa Carambola was absolutely perfect. Coral, the Property Manager, guides you every step of the way to make sure your stay includes any activity you may want to include. The house is absolutely perfect for big family getaways with breathtaking views anywhere you looked.
