Me and my sister recently did the ultimate Alaska adventure. From start to end this was a superb experience. The entire staff is very professional, knowledgeable, experienced, and a great respect and appreciation for the wild-land. We made this reservation with Dave he was very helpful and and answered all our questions. Our guide for the week was Brett Johnson, we were a group of 10, he made everything possible to make sure our expectations were met, and at least for me and my sister they were exceeded we felt at all times VIP. He is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and professional, we felt safe at all times. We also had other guides during our trip, Spencer was our guide during a terrific hike that lasted about 6 hours. Mento, our rafting guide in the Kenai river- he is the wiki human version. Mooney, Harrison, Nick and Maya also had to mention, they gave us fabulous tours during our stay in the glacier lodge. We stayed in 3 lodges the riverside, the backcountry and glacier lodge, words cannot describe these places, you have to go yourself so you can understand what I’m trying to say. The staff if the 3 lodges is excellent, I have to give 100/10 to them- I’m not exaggerating, the food was excellent, they have different options for those with diet restrictions, allergies etc. I am very happy I went to Alaska and that I did it with this company. I am of course coming back. Thank you Dave, Brett, Mento, Mooney, Harrison, Nick, Maya and Spencer and rest of the staff for this great experience.

I brought my 12 year old son to Wildland for a couple days to spend some time adventuring and connecting, no phones or devices allowed. (They’ll work if you need them, we just went without!) It could not have gone better! We live in Anchorage, so we do our share of adventuring as a family of 5, but spending time at Wildland just the two of us was really special. The river rafting trip was a highlight, our guides were excellent. We played UNO and ping pong on the gorgeous, huge, riverfront deck at every opportunity, grabbing cold drinks or snacks from the lodge when we took breaks. I leveraged my ping pong wins into time sweating together in the dry sauna, and when we got too hot we dunked in the glacial river. The food was delicious, and by the end of the trip, we didn’t want to come home! I know that guests at Wildland are primarily visitors from out of state, but I would recommend a stay to anyone local looking for a ready-made adventure!

June 21, 2022 we did a full day rafting trip down the Kenai River. Our guide was absolutely amazing! We're terrible with names and aren't 1000% sure but we think it was Layla, we do know for sure she was from FL :) Either way she was the most knowledgeable, personable, funny, and best story teller around. Oh and let's not forget this girl knows how to prepare a table of food. We enjoyed a beautiful day floating, splashing, and enjoying beautiful wildlife sightings. Highly recommend this company and be sure to request "Layla", the best storyteller from FL! Oh and shout out to Doug a fellow rafter who shared some awesome photos he took on his camera of the brown bear, moose, and eagles we saw!

There is a reason this company gets so many five star reviews. They are the gold standard for customer service and they have a deep expertise and appreciation for the Alaskan wild lands. I am not even sure where to begin.

First, our guide Lantz. He made everyone within our small tour group of 10 feel like a VIP. He made considerable efforts to make sure everyone's expectations for the trip were exceeded. For my husband and I, that meant taking longer more challenging hikes while our group members elected more leisurely activities. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about the ecosystems we were visiting from the behavior of black bears to identifying one of the many wildflowers along our paths. He was ready with an answer or willing to find out. I have never felt so cared for by a tour guide.

Second, the food. To say that I am a picky eater is an understatement. I have a lot of dietary preferences due to an auto-immune disease and I am also just picky. Lantz and the kitchen staff bent over backwards to ensure I always had something delicious to eat - on par with the food that everyone else was getting - and for those that love surf and turf there was plenty of fresh fish and perfectly cooked meat. We ate well at every meal. I was always surprised by the quality of gluten-free options they produced for me.

Third, their lodges. Oh my. I am in love with the Backcountry Lodge and the Fjords Glacier Lodge. I am already trying to figure out when we will go back with our two daughters. These places are special. Not only are they surrounded by some of the most incredible scenery, they deliver an excellent experience. These places are unique and I've been all over the world. I wish I could have stayed at both at least a week. You will not be disappointed.

Our hearts left Alaska filled with joy from encountering pods of orcas, humpback whales bubble net feeding, black and brown bears with their cubs and more eagles than I could count. There were snow capped mountains, glacier fed lakes and rivers and of course massive glaciers calving into the sea. If you're on the fence about this tour, don't hesitate to book with this company. You won't regret it.

Thank you to Lantz and all his colleagues for an...

We booked a fishing trip with these guys 6 months ago. 5 days before the trip, they canceled on us via email because, "Due to larger than usual weather systems in the Gulf of Alaska this summer, sea conditions in and around Seward have been more variable than in past seasons." After frantically calling around we found that none of the other charters we'd called were cancelling their trips this weekend, for weather or otherwise. We booked 6 months out and our trip got cancelled five days out because of nonexistent bad weather. I will say that they offered to give us space on one of several river trips that day, but we're in Seward, 45 minutes from their lodge, without a vehicle. Our booked trip was set for them to pick us up at the dock here. I was told over the phone that we would have to arrange our own transportation to their lodge, but we don't have it in our budget, nor are we inclined, to rent a car just so we can go on one of their consolation prize trips. So none of their alternatives were equivalent to what we'd booked, basically, as they would all have required more time and...
