Customer service and the client experience should be priority for any company. The staff is EXTREMELY rude. I seriously do not know what is up with the people that work there and the people who answer the phones. But wow. If I could give this place negative stars I would. The location may be beautiful. But the overall experience with the staff is horrid. The person over the phone went as far as calling me weird and sketchy because I wanted something answered over the phone and not over email. Seriously!? I'd rather sleep in the car than deal with rude service like this.

In response to the owner: I understand if you need documentation. However, your approach by calling me suspicious, and the nerve the say that I’m being sketchy. All people ask for is for you to be professional and have basic customer service. Prior to booking I dealt with the same lack of respect from your staff, she spoke to me and another family member as if we were incompetent and she was very condescending. Basic customer service is not hard to find.

She followed through to tell a sibling of mine that so happens to live with my parents that the refund is contingent upon my review. And that my review isn’t going to help. She also said “you can thank your brother for...

If I based my review solely on the owners and staff it would be 5+. Everyone here was extremely nice and helpful. Loved the staff and the mooses brew coffee right in front. The location was awesome too! Out of the hustle and bustle of the park area but close enough to be there quickly. Right on a creek which made for a soothing night sound, and close to awesome restaurants. The 3 stars is solely for the inside of the cabin. We were in cabin 4 which was more expensive since it had it's own bathroom. The bathroom was extremely small which is fine, but it had a funky smell I believe coming from the shower curtain, and the shower floor just didn't look all that clean. The floors in the cabin themselves were also not all that clean. Their were spider / Cobb webs in a few corners and tons of dust under the bed. The bed itself was extremely hard. Not sure If it was a hard mattress or an old one but I hated it. The pillows also were not too comfortable. Overall I would come back and stay in a different cabin. Some have great reviews of comfy beds and clean bathrooms. so I think the way to go is one of the other cabins and use the shared bathroom facilities. Loved the location and people! Hope to come back...

Just an amazing place to stay when visiting Denali! Truly enjoyed my recent stay and will definitely book again if coming back up. I stayed in two different cabins, so got the experience most of what they offer. The lettered cabins were amazing and the shower/bathroom house wasn't an issue at all. For one, they were clean, convenient and easy to use, just steps from your cabin. And then I stayed in Cabin 4 with an awesome view of the creek right out the window.

All the employees were very friendly, welcoming and so accommodating. Loved the laundry machines on site and all the amenities. But most of all, it was peaceful. So glad I booked here and was far away from the craziness of some of the larger places up north. It was so quiet here and loved all the views of the surrounding mountains.

Plus, you are just a few steps away from several food options. On site they have the little breakfast/lunch cafe and across the street two great dinner options. Loved Panorama Pizza Pub for the killer pizzas and downhome pub feel.

Tammie and Dan are doing amazing things here and truly appreciate your business. I stay at a lot of national parks and western tourist areas and this is in my top 5 of best places in...

We loved our stay at Carlo Creek! We were unsure of how to navigate our stay in Denali and the owner was helpful and friendly! She even took me on her golf cart to zip me to a bus pickup when I was worried I would be late! There are wonderful restaurants to eat at across the street. The creek in the back is lovely and relaxing. There is a little coffee and snack shop on the property called The Moose’s Brew that was delicious. We ordered sack lunches to take into the park. We stayed in Cabin B. It was adorable and we really felt like we had a unique Alaskan experience with our lodging. The bed was comfortable and there was a refrigerator and microwave. We loved the adorable porch for sitting with our coffee and a book! The bathrooms were a few steps away and were clean and spacious. The price was very affordable and we would highly recommend this spot to anyone!

Cabin with a VIEW!!! We stayed in Cabin D with a double bed and a single bed. The room had a small refrigerator, table and chairs, porch had table and chairs, and linens provided for the shower which was located right next door. Shower/bathhouse was clean and tidy. The people who own the place were super nice and helpful upon check-in. There are two restaurants located across the street within walking distance. Both excellent. We had the Panarama Pizza for dinner and the other for breakfast-HUGE ALASKA size cinnamon rolls! Carlo Creek Cabins has a breakfast and coffee drive thur right on their property as well. This property is located about 15 minutes south of Denali National Park entrance. Great location! Only downside, the cabin only had one tiny window and no fan. This provided little to no air flow and it was rather hot on the night of our stay.
