We stayed with three horses for 3 nights. The bathrooms & showers were well maintained. The showers are money. The trails were fun, but they were hard to find and very rocky. We had to turn around at one point to not risk our horses getting hurt. The waterfall is very fun and a great way to entertain the kids. Be aware and bring fly spray and bug spray, because there is a ton of bugs. The ground by our campsite, Number 9 & 10, had tons of animal holes that we sunk into and tripped over. On the plus side, I had a blast with the horses. One other thing is you do not need to purchase a whole new campsite if you have more than 2 horses. We made the mistake of getting two campsites because there supposedly was only 2 horses per campsite, but there are overfill stalls. Overall a fun place to get your horses...
Read moreThis was a wonderful place to bring the horses! LOTS of beautiful trails to explore in the area. The only problems: non-equestrians were allowed to camp in equestrian sites; other campers were allowed to camp in sites that were previously reserved; the sites are short and uneven (bring leveling blocks); if you have a long rig, there are only a few sites that can accommodate you; bring a long hose to get water to your horses.
