Beautiful waterfall but be extra careful because you can slip and fall easily. We were there last week and quite a few of us got minor scratches from slipping off the boulders. One of our friends had to go to urgent care and needed surgery. I don't know if it was just a freak accident because my friend came here all the time before with no problem previously. If you don't need to dip yourself into the water and just wanted to enjoy the scenery then I would wear my shoes at all time because wet feet on those boulders is accident waiting to happen. I would still go back here with some food and a blanket and enjoy a nice scenic pinic. It is peaceful and relaxing to hear the sound of water running...

While this is very beautiful please the people really trash it. I think the rangers should be going down there to make sure people aren't destroying the place. People leave trash, and there was pizza crust floating in the pools of water. I was highly disappointed to see all this as I've been going to Cuyamaca Mountains for many, many years. I hope they can get some control back. It is $10 for parking as well. I would still recommend going because maybe it's not always like this, but I can only speak on what I know. It's a short half mile hike to the falls at most, but the rocks are slick, so be careful. If you wanna see more, check out my Instagram...
